100% agree. The phone was pretty fast. I tried few games via HDMI out to my 32 inch lcd. everything was really really good. But rebooting and shutting down randomly was a HUGE turn off. otherwise this phone is an excellent one. I posted on many forums like XDA-Developers, MoDaCo etc....an OTA was supposed to happen 2 months ago but not yet there...I gave up..no loss financially though.

And how much for EVO?:D

cheers!!

Its brand new sealed sets, that are purchased but not activated/cant be activated on their home networks due to some reason or other; we get them cheap and activate them on our networks.

On our networks like only on CDMA networks or any GSM networks here? and what on earth is 1/4 GB internal memory? pau GB?

^
Only cdma; thats why its an exclusive club and thats why dearth low rates for top end devices; Its not "pau" GB.. lolz; Its 4GB storage and 1GB ram; the ram is universal across devices; the internal memory is sufficient as most members opt for the optional sd card storage as the preferred route (swappable)...

hell yeah...35K..no way..started with 18K for I9003..then ended up buying O2X for 25K which is on the way back and now thinking on SGS2 for 30K, now talking about 35K for EVO 3D is like looking at myself in the mirror and doing self slapping:lol:

Added Later:

May be your club can reap some benefits on wirefly...thats where I got my LG Vu 5 yrs back..nostalgic

Okay Guys,

Here is an update on LG Optimus 2X that I bought last week. I didn't like the phone as it has some software/hardware bug and has been restarting and shutting down randomly. I rooted and tried various custom ROMs from cyanogen, Modaco, UK and European stock ROMs. The problem still continued. Googal Unkal showed so many threads in various forums about many O2X owners have the same problem. I somehow managed to get a DOA certificate from LG service center here at Hyd. Letsbuy.com has arranged a pickup of the phone and will do a full refund of 24,990 INR. I might get the refund by this weekend. So, here I am back to square one hunting for an android phone. I am thinking to add 5000 more and get Samsung Galaxy S2. Univercell in Hyd is selling 'em at 30500 INR. What say guys? any better suggestions for me? Kaushik Sir, you want to help me save my soul this time?

Cheers!!
As i told you people LG has to go a long way in cellphone space , specially in quality control . PM me i will get a good deal for GALAXY S1
why S1 - half price , has all u need to run latest android , battery backup good with custom rom and task killer,
why not s2 -
many features you will not use except the statement "hey i have got latest galaxy s2"

I wouldnt go that far in saying that the LG is a "bad" product; But with newer devices coming in faster than the blink of an eye, buyer's remorse is bound to creep in; The Optimus 2X is a good device for its price (now 21k from my sources)

As regards, going for SGS instead of SGSII, I would go for Google Nexus One by that same reasoning; Why? As its a "pure" google device; will always get the latest OS version first (it was the first to get gingerbread officially) and will cost even lower than SGS...

Kaushik,

YGPM. I didn't PM you before because I remember you telling Sam9s that you will share details on this deal with your close friends only. Now, I am glad I saw your response. Thanks a lot brother.

cheers!!

How to get Samsung galaxy SII at the cheapest possible price (courtesy a close friend) -

Here it is... It's the lowest available online now..

Now the expected delivery schedule is 2nd week of June on most online sellers like Letsbuy, Flipkart.

One can have Samsung Galaxy S II phone at Rs. 27,290 with delivery at the same time around 2nd week on June. Here is how?

On Indiaplaza, it is listed for sale at Rs. 29,990 here http://www.indiaplaza.com/samsung-galaxy-s2-16gb-mobiles-mob04052011samgal01-10.htm

Indiaplaza has a scheme of gift vouchers you can buy where it gives you 110% of the value you paid for redeeming while buying any item there http://www.indiaplaza.com/gcpromotion/

Now you need to buy 1 Gift Certificate of Rs. 25,000 and 1 Gift Certificate of Rs. 2,000. For a total of Rs. 27,000, it will give you redeem value of Rs. 29,700. So if Galaxy S II is bought from there, pay Rs. 29,700 by Gift Certificate & rest Rs. 290 by Credit Card/Online.

Effective Net Price of Samsung Galaxy II comes to Rs. 27,290 this way.

Be forewarned though, Indiaplaza has got a reputation for delayed shipments sometimes.
