sure will do, the shop guy gave demo on 1612 but its a perfect match for my denon 1312 as well, basically 1312 and 1612 are same in terms of power stuffs.

I'm not an expert on audio, so I can't quantify the quality. However, to my virgin ears it sounds superb. It was this or Denon 1611(entry level 7.1 receiver), got this because of direct iPod connectivity. I can't disclose the exact price, but I can guarantee Lokesh (htstore.in) will give you the best possible price in Bangalore. Just remember to say NO when the installation guy asks if he can connect the wires with banana plugs which cost 1800 a dozen (it's 750 a dozen on eBay

Hi Guys,
I am new to forum. After many auditions, just bought a pair of Tannoy Mercury V4 Tower Speakers. (I plan to start with stereo and build the set up over next 1-2 years).
Now looking out for suitable AVR. My Music:Movies ratio is 65:35. My budget is 25K. Need help / suggestions on choosing one:
1. Which AVR will pair well well with these speakers?
2. Shall I go for basic ones with given budget or shall I go for high end one from longterm point of view? - Can stretch upto 35k if I see value.
3. I came across offer on marantz SR5005 @ 35K on Hifimart / Also, looking at Imported ONKYO NR 609 at approx. 34K with 1 yr dealer warranty. Are these worth considering? If yes, which is better?

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum. I Just bought Panasonic 3d full hd plasma 42", PS3, 2 front polk monitor 60's, Polk CS1 center, Mordaunt short avant 309 sub, Mordaunt short 903 bipole and just looking forward to get a avr. Just confused about Pioneer VSX 53 or Yamaha 810 aventage. Which you guys suggest in respect to this setup and wud also like to buy hdmedia player possibly playon with HDD or Hi 900B 3D after reading the reviews here. Please help about avr as possibly I will be getting the avr from USA. Thanks

Made an attempt to create Audiophile Set-up through PC (ASUS Xonar Essence STX Already purchased) (8.2k).
On 31st-Dec11 I completed my set-up with (1) Denon PMA -510AE (2) Paradigm Titan Monitors. (Both combo @ 45k). Results are very good with Foober Player.

I bought the following configuration for my HT Room17x12ft. Pleaselet me know if this is a good config:
1. Polk AudioRTi series Speakers -A7, CSi6, FXiA6
2. Denon 3312 receiver
3. Epson 3010 Full HD 3Dprojector
4. All Monster 14 gauge speaker cables
5. Monster Sub Woofer Cable 600SW
6. Monster HDMI basic cable
7. Aurum 30ft HDMI cable
8. A few more Mediabridge and BlueRigger HDMI cables
9. Projector Screen yet to decide
10. Do I need to put a UPS or Stablizer behind all the equipment? I am basedout of Noida where the Power sitiation is not very good

congrats Alok. Some serious stuff you have got. Where in Noida? I am contemplating buying a receiver and 3312 is recommended to me. Would like to have a listen whenever your stuff is setup.
Congrats alok. What SUB WOOFER are you buying for this setup?
Invest some money in room acoustics to give a true theater look.
