Please include me also. I'm from Bangalore. I'd like to know which model of Playon HD we will be getting. The model of the one with the new realtek chip (1073DD+) is ACR-PV73100P+. The one with older realtek chip (1073DD) is ACR-PV73100. I hope we are getting the new one. Viveknath, thomasalex, pls confirm with dealer. I feel the newer model will be better supported in the future by acryan. So its better to make sure we get the new one.

BTW, this is my first post here, nice forum

Let's try to get the prices further down. Rs.10,500 translates to ~$225 which is quite high considering the dealer price for ACR-PV73100P+ is $99 only...Add another $10-$15 for the USB wireless dongle plus shipping + duty (10-16%?) and I still see Aqtronics keeping a hefty margin. I hope we can negotiate this down to a sweeter deal. Anyways I'm in. Will send my contact details via PM.



May be its prudent to check how many units Aqtronics is getting in first lot. I guess there wont be many (12-24 pcs max).

i booked online and there was a confusion and the shipping address came as India, i sent and email to AC Ryan and they were kind enough to respond and do the changes..
i liked the response time and they sent the tracking details.
they shipped it via fedex and with 2 days shipping time :clapping:

Did you get 500g hd along with it? I see from the site, its listed as 500g hd included. May be iam wrong too! Can you confirm?

Expecting product on friday at his place (closed during this weekend due to festival) and they will be available from monday. This product is without the 500g hd.

Is this price including the internal HDD? I just checked with their Chennai No. and I was quoted Rs. 7500 with Wifi dongle. I reconfirmed with him that the price being quoted is for Playon!HD ACR-PV73100P+

Did they confuse between PlayON HD(ACR-PV73100P+) and PlayON HD Mini(ACR-PV73200P+)? If not, Rs.7500 is an uber kewl price for ACR-PV73100P+. Grab it when you can...

He said they have only two models - HD and HD Mini. He was not sure of the model Nos. (he was travelling when I called). When I quoted the model No. from their site, he said it was HD and works with an internal HDD. Also given with it is a wifi dongle.

They don't have a showroom here, but he is getting around 100 pcs from B'lore on Friday, when he is supposed to call me back.

Shall keep you all posted.

I spoke to Ranga Prasad on hdd. His input is they always sell without hdd in view of warranty issues.. Since he is giving with wifi dongle and pays vat 13.5% he cant make it better...
