Right now I am listening to ...

I like John Denver. very peaceful. So many great songs. Favourites are Back home again, Jet plane, Sunshine on my shoulder... many more.

And here's the thing - I've found Denver sounds immeasurably better on LP, even using the most basic turntable. Think 'emotional connect' here.

And I'm not one of those analog-for-the-sake-of-analog guys..

Never heard him on an lp. So can't comment. But even if its not a good recording, Denver's clear voice still seems to be heard over all the hiss and crackle.

John Denver is my favorite too. Incidently I was listening to him during last month's listening sessions.

Try 'The Unplugged Collection' Label: CMC records.

Tracks to listen: Perhaps Love, Take me home, Annie's Song......

Any Kenny Rogers fan here?

Hi Guys,
Have been listening to all the cds from a pop/new age group called A-HA.
Wonder if any of u guys are familiar with them. Keyboards, stupid lyrics and more but some songs are really 'musical'. Very 80sish.
Rgds

Hey Dinyaar...am familiar with that group, not a big fan though. I remember the "Take on Me" track of theirs from the 80s - hope its the same guys you are talking about.
