Love. Angel. Music. Baby. by Gwen Stefani

groovy cover.....

Afj, Confluence 1 is very good, but don't waste your time with Confluence 2. It is a real waste of time. Uninspiring music, each and every single number on that album.

Cheers

thanks venkat. i was acquainted with confluence when you wrote about it in this thread. picked it up when i was in india in dec. to me it was more of a rahul sharma cd with piano as an accompaniment. there wasnt anything 'clayderman' about it. ya the piano was good but it was always, or atleast mostly background to the santoor. but still very good music. just that it needed a different mood to be heard from what i expected it to be. i also have rahul sharmas time traveller which is more progressive in its genre.

am looking for some fusion music and was wondering if you or other members could suggest something. something on the lines of tabla, percussions, sax, flute...nothing electronic sounding. something opposing in cultures though complementing in music

LOL.. at a casual glance could've sworn that was Madonna! Though reports have it that ol' Madge is now busy aping Kate Winslet's look.

true true persi. could;ve been her or christina aguilera. for some reason i could never take to madonnas music. it was there for the season and after which i had no interest in listening to it. some of christinas performances on the other hand have had me listening in amazement

Some recent Hindi music I have been listening to. Will not talk about recording quality since all are borrowed FLAC/MP3 rips. Thought I will just give my views about the music.

Ghajini - A real disappointment. Only the 1st track "Guzarish" has some replay value. Cannot believe Aamir Khan/A. R. Rehman combo could churn out such mundane, pedestrian music.

A little better, foot tapping music, but the kind that you will listen and forget soon after the movie is released and gone. Akshay's Welcome had some better music from his movies in recent times that I enjoyed.

Foot tapping and has some replay value, but not much. At least will entice you to dance on some tracks like "Maa Da Laadla" and "Shut Up & Bounce". My wife certainly enjoyed them.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi - "Haule Haule" is the standout track here, but good music overall notably "Dance Pe Chance" and "Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai".

Certainly the best music that I have run into from the contemporary Hindi music scene. The Bhatt's have delivered yet again. Melodious music, good replay value and that is saying a lot considering today's Hindi film music. Certainly worth the price of the CD.

Hi,
Been sting for a few days.
Nothing like the sun, Dream of the blue turtles, soul cages,Brand new day.
The first two i like every track while the latter two have a handful i enjoy.
