Thank you for this, had been a while I had listened to these masters of the art.![]()
Some of the best rock music, with a folksy twist.

Listening to some brilliant guitarists on a lovely rainy evening. Don't like everyone track on the album but none the less an amazing album.![]()

Oh yeah.
There was a period of my life when I only listened to Dire Straits, day in and day out, for a few short weeks. The only other bands and singers I've done that with are the Eagles, Santana, Tool, and Shakira.
There is something about immersing yourself in the music of a band or singer...so much more discovery and it opens up so many facets of their music. Today's Spotify generation will never discover the wholesome immersive experience of listening to an entire album continuously, or going through the work of a band over the years.
Ha ha... not my place to talk about the great Tull.
If you haven't do check them out... some of the best progressive and folk rock ever from an all time great band.
Didn't we all do this sometime or the other! Black Sabbath, Led Zep, Dire Straits... for me.
I recently discovered their music on a long flight where there was a show on them in the system. Must say they have cone a long way from their humble roots.Coincidentally I was listening to this on & off. Terrific stuff. And it was raining in Hyd too.
Why without the whiskey? And so they are indeed.
It has been an excellent start to the weekend... been alternating between CSNY and Jeff Beck... what a ride and without the whiskey too.
