Hey ashok nice to know you like anandshankar,

Thanks

Don williams, I didn't know, gold is released, so far the places I visited it was not there. So far I have been picking every gold released.

I love traffic and steve winwood. But the initial best of traffic which I bought, which had paper something as thier first song, that album was difficult for me, definitely i liked their last. they were better later.

Traffic were like that, lot's of ups and downs and lots of infighting within the group from what I've read about them.

I got Don Williams from Amazon, in Hyderabad both Music World and the others stock very little as it is. Most will be latest Hindi movie music. Coming to the Don Williams Gold album, it's a comprehensive one, has 40 songs and this alone will suffice for a Don Williams album in your collection. It has all this chart topping hits. A very good collection of songs.

Hey this is one of favourites. Recently I had downloaded Jethro Tull Live at Montreux 2003 HD-720p. Very nice concert!

I had gone to their show at Rang Bhawan, Mumbai, way back in early 90s.

Amazing flutist!

My friend/ neighbour looks just like Ian Anderson!

Yeah, truly an amazing flutist. Love the way he plays.

Qn for the experts-
I have the 5 CD set of Ameen Sayani's Geet Mala Ki Chhaon Mein.
The CDs are recorded as a single track, hence one can't skip between songs.
You can't keep listening to the commentary(mellifluous as it is)again & again.
One wants to be able to listen to just the songs, rip them to your Mp3 player for enjoying them while on a walk etc.
Is there some way of creating CD R's with just the songs extrcted from the original CDs?
Would appreciate some help on this.

For MP3s the solution is easy. Just d/l the software MannsMP3Edit, it's free and you can cut the MP3 file anywhere you want. You'll just need to listen/forward to the point where a song ends and cut it at that point. This way you can create individual MP3 files. Same can be done with WAV files too and I think for FLAC too, but I've to hunt for the s/w. Let me know if MP3 is fine or you need for WAV/FLAC too. Do check out MannsMp3Edit, it works great.
