Right now I am listening to ...

>>Kamal, I guess I should buy the Unforgettables then. As it is the mastering done by Indian Audio companies is so poor on average.

The CD version is rather dull. If you have a turntable, buy the LP record. You may get it on ebay.

HMV did a poor job while mastering CDs for existing recordings. I am sure they did not do it from the master tapes.
For example, I was surprised to find that the CD for Jagjeet Singh's album "Sajda", actually sounds worse than the original audio cassette! In this case, you can judge the quality from the art work itself.

Sharad

i would appreciate the recordings done by Daman Sood for Jagjit singh , but now a days , the music and recording quality of Ghazals have degraded , Sajda is no exception,.

Heard "Inside Information"-Foreigner this evening. Some nice tracks from a band i really like. Most of their albums are average recordings though this one is decent.

Lovely !!

What abt Saathiya, Sushil?
Great Album, to my mind.
Remember "Mera yaar mila de sainyan"?
Beautifully sung, with lots of emotion, by Rehman himself; and such glorious music-virtually every number is excellent.

Tears for Fears. Roland Orzabal showed an amazing talent for jazz with "Woman In Chains" with Oleta Adams. Otherwise just a fun revisiting of memories from the 80s.

Chet Baker Sings
Above average songs on a SBC(Super Bit CD). Great delicate high frequencies.

Thanks,
Sharad
