Ravi, you need a standard button remote to check the hours of usage. The touch pad remote will not help. I did not check the usage since it was a single piece just delivered to the dealer for stock and I picked it up immediately while it was in transit to their warehouse. I got it delivered in 2 hours and installed same day.
I did not take unboxing pics but surely the bezel had a sticker with the tv features listed. Plus the bottom had thick plastic that the installation guys forgot to remove before attaching the base stand. I had to forcibly pull it out. So yes, there must be plastic somewhere on the bezel. Why don't you look for instruction or installation manual. They usually mention to remove plastic. Another easy way is to check if the accessories like remote and 3D glasses come in proper sealed plastic or box. They should not be tampered. If the guys are adamant then ask the Samsung demo guy to get a standard remote so you can check. If you can get hold of one yourself then better but don't be overtly curious and make uninformed changes.
