I was not aware of this. If I am the dealer, it would be no brainer for me to demo for 5-6 hours and get 50 odd peoples attention (who are serious enough to commit their time and money to the meet). It looks like sadly I got it wrong.

Who cares if they are making the moolah about quality & quantity. At the end of the month big companies have to pay salaries to their employees and they do not work on emotions but pure business sense. Unless they are 100% sure about the outcome they will not risk no matter how less. Decision takers are accountable for their actions and they do not want any wrong decisions made at the last quarter of the fiscal.
Small players can still afford to make mistakes as they are mostly one man show who pays for his decision right or wrong. Also the outcome for them either ways does not matter as they are participating mostly for visibility than actual sales. It gives them more kick if its announced that so and so event was sponsored / supported by so and so company and thats the advt they are looking for rather than any actual sales in the meet.

We should get some fresh ideas from our Delhi folks who hosted the meet mostly with sponsors. How did they manage it.. Delhi HFV folks ?

Have patience, we want to get the best possible gears but in doing so, we have to really coax the people in this business to join hands with us & put up a good show.

Just hope that the response from FM's is better than it currently is :o :mad: :sad:

We humbly request all FM's on the forum to come for the meet & make it a success. We sincerely want to build on the foundation we laid during the 1st meet. People interested in bringing their gears are requested to kindly update the same on the spreadsheet that will be attached by Santy in the following post. Hemant will also be posting more details of the meet in his post.

We also request FMs to be volunteers for setting up gears/taking charge of the demos planned for the meet. Request Spirovious, DarshanJoshi, The coolestone & others to put their hands up for being volunteers & taking things forward.

Looking forward to another rocking meet, lets have fun !!!

So for now, HT remains scrapped until we get many fresh votes in favour of it; very unlikely though. We can have low to mid end in one hall and mid to high end in another. What goes in which hall depends on the no. of gears, so please fill up the excel sheet, link given in post #2! :licklips:

Sorry buddy, am also upset that 1 by 1 FM's are dropping out as the meet is nearing. Kinda frustrated too as we as organisers are putting in the efforts but sadly our fellow FM's & friends are not supporting us.
