Here is my Short review:
I find it very much VFM. good colour & picture quality. panel covered under 3 year warranty, Sound is too good. Now i'm having only SD channels & watching HD movies downloaded ones. i find the TV very easy to install & use. I would recommend it to anyone. Colour & contrast are n default setting need to play around with it a little

re: Toshiba P2305 39" Review

Got my TV yesterday as well for 34,500 /- .Very impressed with what it offers for the price, my friend got Samsung same day and I can say that this TV is no less than the Samsung one in color reproduction or contrast ratio.
If anyone want's review from my side I can write a detailed one, but many have already done it already :). But here is small version

Pros :
* Great color reproduction
* Good contrast, 5 inbuilt picture modes provide enough quick switch choices. You can set parameters manually too.
* Plays most common video formats via USB easily.
* Impressed with inbuilt speakers.
* Price is awesome for TV of this quality. Samsung/Sony/LG can suck it.

Cons :
1. TV stand is not of the greatest quality, TV swivels a lot when touched. Does not feel firm (no problem if you wall mount though)
2. Takes time in rendering thumbnails of files from USB, until thumbnails are generated you cant navigate via remote. (Compared to my old Samsung TV which is a bit faster)
3. TV remote is small for my big hands. :p

re: Toshiba P2305 39" Review

Sorry for stupid question but can someone tell me which port I should connect the single wire coming from 2.1 channel speakers and if any configuration is required on TV. As of now it is connected to a port which reads PC/HDMI1(Audio) and its not playing any sound :(

EDIT: Nevermind. Google dada tells me I need to get a 3.5mm to RCA converter or something.

Got it working finally. Now the sound is channeled through my 2.1 system. I really liked the sound from sound bar but the bass was too flat for my liking.

re: Toshiba P2305 39" Review

Can someone here check if you are able to switch MTS modes? Mine is struck at mono and option is greyed out.

Also has anyone connected external sound system? Problem I am facing is that when using external speakers, the volume controls for TV are of no use. Only Set top box volume controls work.

did u change the setting?I am asking since in the demo I saw the sd channel pictures a bit hazy..the sales person told me that it is in default setting..

It is just like that.. Can't blame the tv for it coz i did check sony n samsung LED's n it was the same! Don't expect amazing SD quality on an LED. The pq might improve if you adjust the settings properly but will never be as good as a CRT tv. Some channels like DD National,Bindaas,Colors looks excellent whereas Star Sports channels looks ugly so i guess the problem is not bcoz of the tv n the set top box + tv station plays a very important role

Yes i have done minimal adjustments to suit to my taste. but that don't give you a clear picture in any LED's as shreyaskini described. But if you standing far from TV i.e about 9 - 10 feet distance you can have better PQ. The viewing distance helps to solve the problem. To have an Clarity on pictures when you stand near an LED TV, you have to have good Strong signals (read HD Channels) + a good set top box (read HD Set top box) to improve the viewing experience.

re: Toshiba P2305 39" Review

Review time:

1. Color reproduction is great: To my eyes Sony looked marginally better whereas could not make out any difference between this and LG/Samsung
2. Audio: Very good but not as good as Sony if you are an audiophile .
3. Checked fast moving scenes for motion blur. Played Avengers in 1080 also watched MotoGP on SSHD and very much satisfied with the output.
4. In cricket mode the thing easily noticed is increased contrast but my eyes could not identify the difference between this mode ON/OFF. That said I have kept it on cricket mode as picture looks better. :)
5. It reads my 500GB HDD remarkably fast and is easy to navigate.
6. The remote is lightweight but the buttons lack feedback.
7. Build quality: Decent. Made to the price.

Conclusion: If you want a large screen, very good PQ, decent sound, Three year warranty and VFM. Go for this. I am happy with my purchase.

Hi,the picture quality of the sd channels looks not so good.is it bcoz that those pictures were taken in low quality or does it looks so in reality?

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
