Yes i have done minimal adjustments to suit to my taste. but that don't give you a clear picture in any LED's as shreyaskini described. But if you standing far from TV i.e about 9 - 10 feet distance you can have better PQ. The viewing distance helps to solve the problem. To have an Clarity on pictures when you stand near an LED TV, you have to have good Strong signals (read HD Channels) + a good set top box (read HD Set top box) to improve the viewing experience.

isn't 9-10ft too far for HD viewing? There won't be any kinda detail if you sit that far.. Max is 8ft!

I was referring to the viewing distance for SD channels, HD ones i enjoy by sitting near TV size and viewing distance are related. Changing both aspects always change the TV size in your eyes. Buying a larger TV (50 inch) without changing the other factors means you run risk of poorer picture quality due to increased pixelation. The Viewing distance is heavily based on Size of TV and material resolution that we play on TV

Btw, got a D2H connection and loving the Dolby option in HD channnels. Is there any way to make the dolby output default, I have to select it each time on every channel, completely idiotic.

Cricket mode I think deepens the blacks and makes the picture more prominent, some details in black are lost in this mode but if you don't like that you can use the dynamic mode. I like cricket mode even for my Movie watching.
Sports is joy to watch on this TV.

That is good know, anyone has made any video of watching sports in HD?
Going to a showroom as well today with some demo videos but wanted to check a real test.

on Star Sports 4 football doesn't look good n i've come to know that its because of Star Sports only and not the fault of tv. If you're a football fan like me then you should get a HD connection or else you'll not have a very good viewing experience

I am looking at sports in HD only with Videocon D2H mostly given good reviews in this forum.
As long as sports in HD looks good then great.

Nope. Found a spare cable at home which had Red/White/Yellow ports on both sides and Amplifier also had these Red/White ports. Connected them and it started working.

Can someone here check if you are able to switch MTS modes? Mine is struck at mono and option is greyed out.

Also has anyone connected external sound system?
The problem I am facing is that, when using external speakers, the volume controls for TV are of no use. Only Set top box volume controls work.

Got a RCA to 3.5mm converter from amazon connected to the Hifi system. but the problem is Sound is coming through the sound system speaker & also from the sound bar & if i mute the TV still the sound is coming through the speakers, i have to use the volume control of HIfi system, is there anyway to control this behavior?

Buying online is a gamble n if you're ready for it then buy it from infibeam/snapdeal n if you're not willing to take the risk then just buy from your local dealer. I'd not recommend anyone to buy a TV online but then again it completely depends on you

Infibeam is one of the slowest shipper among Indian online seller.

Nothing like Customer care, if you wish to buy online I'll suggest you ebay, flipkart and in last Snapdeal...but some use here had very bad experience with Sanpdeal :sad:

Can you please confirm if the all 3-year warranty covers everything or only 1st first covers everything.The reason being I visited E-Zone today and the sales person said that 2nd and 3rd year warranty are for namesake

Also how to check usage hour to make sure I am not getting a demo piece ?

Hi,
I had the same dilemma. Apart from the risk of getting a used/faulty piece I was worried if I will get Toshiba service for online purchased TV.
So I visited nearest Toshiba service center and asked them. They said that Toshiba will provide service but if there is a refund needed (in worst case) then there will be a problem since refund has to happen via authorized dealer.

So I decided to buy from local shop at slightly higher price. Hope that helps.

Hi guys,
After going through this thread, I explored Toshiba models and bought 39L3300.
I preferred this one over 2305 because of clean black bezel instead of silver speaker bar in 39P2305, which I felt a bit distracting while watching TV.
Internet connectivity (Ethernet) and built-in YouTube app is bonus and works well.
Playback from USB media works good. Folder based browser is great while browsing when you have huge collection of AV content.
Sound quality is good and is loud enough (I never had go above 50% of the volume).

Overall very happy with the Toshiba TV.

I confirmed with Toshiba service center about 3 year warranty and it is not for namesake. I guess e-zone guy is just pushing you to buy other expensive brands.
