I get lucky only with kitschy LP's like these



A recent visit to our state capital Ranchi yielded a bunch of Vinyl including the above.

But we also got a Technics DD turntable, a Technics amp, Deck, Tuner and matching speakers of 80's vintage. All in working condition. Most of LP's and all the Technics stuff I gave away to a youngster at family who is stricken with vinyl fever.

Picked about 200 LP's from the Technics owner and a further about 300 LP's and Audio cassettes from a defunct music shop in Ranchi. Retained about 50 LP's mostly of classical, devotional western pop genre.

Well worth the money spent on the drive to Ranchi and the lunch at KFC

Excellent Simon. Mine just got delivered as well. I guess a lot us will be spinning this Vinyl over the next few days.

Glad to hear from Bhaskar that the pressing is excellent. Now we can venture buying their Led Zeps and stuff.

Not sure Bhaskar. We need to be on the lookout I guess. This is however available across international sites.

Thanks for prompt reply. Yes I've following this release very closely and now getting anxious as this supposed to be a limited no. release. SH Forum is having their hottest thread ever(running over eleven chapters). I've written to Flipkart and Amazon.in but yet to get any reply.

Maybe I'll go for amazon UK as I don't want to miss the train.

Great! Next year will be the 40th anniversary of Wish You Were Here. Hope they release a box set for that :licklips: or maybe that will be reserved for the 50th anniversary..

Btw how does the reissue sound?

It's available on Amazon UK for almost 300 GBP! Wonder what the price will be when it becomes available on Flipkart.
