Vinyl I am listening to...

The LP cover art used to be so innovative and creative like the 25 written on the LP cover resembles two reels of a spool! This is what I like about Vinyl covers!
I too have some Vinyl records whose covers are nothing short of art work (it actually is art work made for that Vinyl).

Listening to Pet Shop Boys 'The Remixes'. 2 LP 1997 Atlantic USA pressing. This has various remixes of songs 'Se a vida e' and 'To step aside' from the album 'Bilingual' Unfortunately the original album versions are missing.

Spinning now..Swami/Gharaonda
Songs wise these two are good albums. But looks like this is 33 rpm. If its ok to you with dialogues in between songs, do try to listen to both albums in their own separate title in 45 RPM. Comparatively very good recording/pressing.
Regards.

Will try to find those 45 rpms. Even in this 'Gharaonda' has dialogues in between songs. I bought this in mint condition from a former record store employee. He said he had around five copies of these and all sold out. This is the last one he had.

Nostalgic !! I bunked class to watch this movie !!

Simon!!

You can remember PBS's emotional song "thozlvi nilayinai ninaththal", Senthil's character role, those eyes, that chariot, E L Ananthan's comeback and finally the night scene in which tiny light beam becomes a line up of cars ( that scene always got audience applause for the cameraman's creativity). Nostalgia!!

I bunked the classes for the another movie Sridher's 'Thenrale ennai thodu'.:D I don't know how many times i watched that movie.

regds,

The Ultimate Sin - my fav Ozzy album! I got the CD only. Found it after a long search. The cassette tape saw lots of play when I was a teenager.

Try Ozzmosis too. You may like it. It's more mellow and has a nice ballad (Old L.A. Tonight).
