:),
Simon ,
I will certainly start trading once I run out of space....or my better half shows a red face.. .:D or once I find time to bundle out the "duplicates"

Certainly, I will give away American Pie record. but, when I get a second one. This one , I got it traded for a "Pink Floyd record". so....

Anil,

I'm seriously looking forward to see your extra copies in our 'classifieds' section..

Will send you some pics of my first round of segregated doubles, about a dozen vinyls and would make it a give away for your museum...

I pray , you won't disappoint me by saying "I have them all, already" [emoji3]

Thanks Dear for the wise words.. :)

I found the recording to be quite good with good instrumental play.

Whenever I saw James Last vinyl almost all are instrumental..

Many thanks again!
Take care.

Close your eyes and pick them up, but don't burn your wallet.. Worth it, and would find them later, how good and worthy they are, just like Unilever shares..

I grew up with them since age 7+

Can someone please educate me about James Last and his music?

Many thanks!

Aktuelles - James Last

Have been enjoying since my earliest childhood memories.

You cant go wrong with James Last, Max Greger, Burt Kempfert, Ron Goodwin, Victor Sylvestor, Horst Wende, Roberto Delgado and a few others.
Billy Vaughn's Golden Hits is the best album he put out (IMHO, YMMV). All tracks are foottappers, especially Tequila. Do not pay more than 50 bucks as these artists are plentiful on the ground. Next time they shall serenade you on the Altecs if you so wish:)

Regards,

Hello Dear,

Thanks for the useful information!
Yes the have nice music on them. The instruments sound very lively. I read about his work and seems he had an orchestra format. Nice music!

Take care!

If one is interested in instrumental music of 60s, Enoch Light Orchestra 'Command performance' series vinyls are technically very well recorded. Enoch Light was perfectionist and went to great lengths in achieving high quality sound.

Regards

Hi Hiten,

Command records did many of their master recordings on 35mm film soundtrack, not tape. Terry Snyders Percussion series records on that label are also good.

I am big fan of COMMAND Records (esp Persuasive Percussion Vol 1-3 and Provocative Percussion vol1 and 2 series) and could collect many of them.
Persuasive Percussion series is a treat to STEREO listeners.

Enoch Lite became famous with his innovative "multi-track" 35 MM Film recordings. I have few of these in LPs(Originally recorded from 35 MM film).

Listening 'puratchi Thalaivar's inspirational songs!!

'Namadhu vetriyai nalai sariththiram sollum'!! What a song!!

This album was released by HMV soon after he was re-elected as MLA. but for the first time from a new party ADMK. Later, the party chose him as CM too.
According to a popular old HMV record dealer, not may copies of this album were pressed. So, preserve them.
