I have been listening to this amazing Brahms Violin Concerto by Henryk Szeryng (violin) with the London Symphony Orchestra. My copy is from Sep 1959. I've never heard violin sounding so palpable and real.

Yes this LP is rare and expensive. Should be around 20K now. This is an Odeon press heavy LP. Sounds superb

and on the other hand i have bought Joe Cocker on LP twice (hits) and it has been a dismal sound quality both times. Maybe 3rd time is the charm.
