Hi guys,
I am new to this forum only recently getting onto the vinyl bandwagon. Have started building up a small but decent vinyl collection. Just today got this wonderful NM LP of Ozric Tentacles which I purchased on ebay. The LP is an original UK pressing by Dovetail records and came in a unique paper jacket made from hemp which is cannibis plant (from which marijuana is made) but with neglegible narcotic substances. You can wiki it up. The vinyl sounds amazing!

Got these on my recent trip to Singapore - to be frank I felt they were a bit expensive but on listening I feel they are worth every penny:ohyeah:

Just picked up the Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd remastered vinyl from Rhythm House. I've been very excited about this release and when I saw they had it I picked it up immediately. Brought it home, opened it up and found that the postcard was missing! I thought that was odd, so I took it back to the shop, the opened another piece and gave me the postcard from that. I came home again and then I noticed that there was no pink tinted plastic innersleeve like I saw mentioned on some sites.. I thought again that was odd but it was something I could live without. Which makes me believe that Rhythm House is selling used pieces of vinyl, or stuff that is returned by customers missing stuff. I am giving the vinyl its first spin, and so far it is playing very quietly and sounds good.. but i'm keeping my fingers crossed there are no problems.

Be sure to avoid buying from Rhythm House unless the vinyl is sealed. I am disappointed since i've been buying from them since as long as I can remember. And worst part is someone is going to pick up a copy of Wish You Were here from them and it will be missing a postcard! So just a warning for those looking to pick it up from that shop.

Today i got the Rockstar vinyl , delivered by flipkart

the sound is good, i believe the built quality of the disk is same like saregama

sony disks are lighter, thinner, and the sound depth is more,

however when compared to a cd i believe the rockstar vinyl is more rich in SQ,

loving the sound

Cheers

aapki yaad aati rahi raat bhar....
the same has been sung by abida parveen too in a pvt album. i like both of them versions.
also saqiya aaj mujhe neend nahi ayegi......
yeh sham ki tanhaiyan aise me tera gham .... (just like it. though i m by no means a broken/lonely heart. hehe!)
and lastly... jadugar saiyan, ooonchi oonchi duniya ki deewarein, mera dil ye pukare aaja and the most wonderful lyrics (most underrated song of the album too) teri yaad me jalkar dekh liya.
