Listened to George Shearing's 1960 album "White Satin" in the morning before driving down to work. Its an brilliant american pressing, and this is a piano album that I always wanted to have since listening to it on Radio Ceylon when I was in school.

On another note, this album is ideal for checking wow and flutter on a TT. It sounds perfect on my Technics DD.

Hi,
Yesterday, my daughter was home and she is a Dire Straits fan. I had the Alchemy Live album of Dire Straits which I have never listened in my listening room before. So we had a blast of live Dire straits. It was fantastic. good pressing and good recording. A 'must have' album for die hard Dire Straits fans

Lovely LP, inspiring. Will try Brothers In Arms when I am back at home in a short while from now

A good session indeed Reuben. Any comments on the musical experience in your new Listening Space??

Haven't tried too many tricks with the speaker positions, waiting for this weekend. Going through some busy days at work. Sorry about the delay with the posters, will decide and let you know tonight.

John Mayer - Battle Studies, two LPs. Brilliant album, but sonically compromised on vinyl. It is more pleasant to listen to the CD.

I was spinning Bad Company's Bad Co. after a long time.

Now it is back to a favourite - Kyung Wha Chung playing Saint-Saens Violin Concerto in A Minor with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montreal with Charles Dutoit conducting. This is a Decca digital recording but it sounds wonderful.

Jackie McLean - Swing Swang Swingin (45rpm Music Matters Jazz Reissue)

Sonny Rollins - Newk's Time (45rpm Music Matters Jazz Reissue)

Get these if you have the least amount of interest in Jazz. Must have albums and these particular 45rpm reissues are out of the world!

Listened to the legendary Led Zeppelin IV last night. Our cousins are down from down under and one of them brought along a few of his records to spin on my rig.

My favourites are of course, Rock n' roll (its better than the live version on "The song remains the same"), Stairway to Heaven and Black Dog

Listened to Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, this morning. Was inspired after watching it on "Classic Albums" on VH1, yesterday.

Once I got a 'Dark Side of the Moon' 10th anniversary Limited Edition180gm):indifferent14: Record in a special cover but it was a tragic moment when I pulled out the record. Someone has tried to use it on a gramaphone and the record was completely ruined

WOW. Some really neat albums. What do you reckon of the Aussie pressings?

I've got the same U2 The Joshua Tree Lp :).

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
