Vinyl I am listening to...

The Great Gambler LP seems to be great condition. Waris Angel print is also available. Naya Daur EP: Chalo Kahin Aur Chalte Hain has the falling drumsticks effect on Tabla, a rarity.
Mangal Sutra LP in 45 rpm sounds superb. Raat Banu Main Aur Chaand Bano Tum what a duet by Bhupinder Singh and Asha Bhosle.

thanks for the views sourav...more to come on 14th when an extended weekend of 4 days starts..

cheers,
keep rocking..

Have enjoyed today's holiday (in observance of Eid) with following Asha Bhosle R.D.Burman, Puja albums. Pressings are way above the term excellent. Very cozy recording quality,

Phire Elam LP: Those who had a listen to this album can comment on the songs and pressing.

Bou Katha Kao: in Stereo

Daak Pathale: 45 rpm an entire song is based on airplane, pilot announcement etc. None had ever thought in Indian music to include this kind of song in a bangla puja album

never heard of these..but i must say thats a really nice catch....i have the bengali "trimurti" LP which was a remake of "jagir"...do let me know if you happen to stumble upon any of the above records..
cheers..

watched Def Leppard's "Hysteria" episode on Vh1's classic albums last night and can't but admire how that album was put together, despite the misfortune with Rick's arm and Steve's drinking problems. What a wonderful work it really was. Remember, got to listen to it for the very first time when I was in standard 10. Took out my old Hysteria CD and listened to it after quite a bit. The riffs on Gods of War were simply awesome!!

The best print of the lot is the Russian Pressing.. May be some one got it free during the cold war era, as a propaganda material

Welcome Mr. Sinha, looks like you are with Vinyl for a long long time. Its lovely to have old-school enthusiasts around. There's nothing known as a Technologically Challenged Person, when it comes to vinyl. All one needs to do is indulge in the bigger picture and mastery is just a step or two, away.
