What do you ride?

My Garage are as follows :-
1 . Bajaj Pulsar 220 FI - Apr 2008 - 61 K Done
2. Yamaha SZR - May 2011 - 7K Done

Never knew such a thread existed. Well I own a RX-135( 5-speed) and a RE Electra 4s both of which will be heading in for a make over pretty soon.
Other bikes include my wife's Honda Dio, a honda activa and a RD350 HT(my younger bro's).

My fav' still is the RX135 and nothing beats the sheer joy riding a 2 stroke and popping a wheelie :D.

Ah..the evergreen :clapping:. Alway wanted to own one, still want to own a (RXZ to modify) but chances seems very low, considering I am not allowed (by my family) to ride too much. I own a 1983 Yamaha RD350 HT for the last 12 years.

I see Dr.Ganesh has a nice RX too

here comes the actual ironhorse and 2 of my bikes from my garage...

That's some shopping list. I'll ask a few people. I don't think there'll be much left.

Hi Finyl Vinyl,

Have you been able to find out any sidecars for sale. They were in common use in Western and Southern India. Also in Kolkata. Can any other fellow member suggest any sidecar or interesting motorcycle which may be for sale?

Regards.

Denom, my old man had a Triumph Speed Twin. When he moved from Delhi to Hyderabad, he sold it because he didn't think tha there would be mechanics good enough there. That's when he bought that Jawa, which I so curse at times.

If in Bangalore, come down to the Motorcycle Cafe Museum on a Sunday. There's always a bunch of guys there about breakfast time. Laast time I was there, two Dommies and on A10 were milling around

In Hyderabad, There is a guy called Shankar behind Idgah Maidan near Padmarao Nagar. This guy has a Matchless, Norton, BSA, Triump and a vintage scooter with reverse speedometer like smiths in his mechanic shed. All in knocked down state. I vaguely remember him telling one of those motorcycle's cost 15 lacs. This one was a long motorcycle ( BSA/Norton I think ).

As per my knowledge from the brands you mentioned the BSA Goldstar DBD34 Cafe Racer is one of the best among classic bikes which is worth about 10L. Next comes the Norton Dominator 650SS and Triumph Bonneville at about 8L and last comes the Matchless.
Vincent Black Shadow is the king of all classic bikes with a price tag of about 30L - 40L. The last one I saw on ebay uk went for about 38k but there is only one such bike in whole India.
But for the prices I mentioned to be paid they should be in good running state or should be easy to get them into running with little effort with all original parts and all badges intact.
