Xiaomi to launch Mi TV Q1 75" on 23rd March - QLED, 192 Zones, 120Hz

While non essential delivery have been partially allowed in Maharashtra , MiQ1 75 inch is out of stock on Flipkart and also the HDFC EMI offer is also gone (was valid till 31st May). Mi website is not accepting any orders at all. Anybody been successful to place order via Mi portal
I would suggest you to wait for the HDFC offer on Flipkart. It usually comes and goes every fortnight.

cant wait for the shield pro to arrive, the UI is laggy AF right now when Playing 4K.

might be OT but do you guys use a voltage stabiliser or any equivalent product for TV and AV receiver? quality of electricity isn’t very good here in Gurgaon. Alol equipment is on a Belkin surge protector right now, which wont do anything for voltage fluctuation
I have never used any stabiliser for anything. Not for my inverter or regular ACs, not for my 75 inch or 55 inch TVs or anything else.
Never had any issues. Gurgaon is a large city. It is only in very rural areas that you have issues of low or high voltage. Most appliances are quite tolerant to a little voltage change.

TV was installed today. Its indeed huge and magnificent. I won't belabour on what already is said about the panel.

Now my issue.
I have connected the TV through HDMI to Yamaha 3067, eARC port on TV and HDMI in on 3067 thats also ARC.

However, Firestick 4K is not passing through 3067 to the TV. Firestick is connected to 3067.

What could be the issue.

The 3067 supports 4k/30. Must be some handshake issues

Could that be the issue with HDMI cable?

I have looked at almost all settings.. am now clueless. I inserted the Firestick directly into TV.. 4K is there, however then the 5.1 audio doesn't reach to 3067 through HDMI.

If u have any other device you can connect and check to rule out Hdmi cable issues. What are u playing to check Audio? Check tv audio settings as well as avr.

I think you need to connect the HDMI out of the soundbar receiver to the HDMI of the TV.

ARC is for return channel, so I don't think the receiver will support video out with the same port.

An alternative solution will be to connect the firestick to the TV and do ARC/eARC to the receiver.

3067 is an AVR

I am able to use Firestick video from my Marantz 7011 to TV without any issue.Hope you have set the HDMI source on tv as HDMI2.

That's a typo in the initial statement. I used receiver later in the comment. Anyway, corrected it.

Anyway, the ARC port on any AV instrument isn't necessarily meant to carry video signal. Every soundbar also has a mini receiver built in, so the concept should be the same.

I think, you should connect HDMI out port of the receiver to the eARC port of the TV

Have you enabled the ARC in AVR via the setting menu? Once I forgot to change the source in AVR to FireStick input and ended up spending quite some time fixing it... ;)

Congratulations buddy.
Make sure you enable ARC in the settings. It takes more than a week adjusting your TV for the best possible quality and if you are a videophille, you do it for every damn video.

Well, where are the settings on Yamaha 3067 for this. I can't figure that out. TV has settings for ARC and they get enabled once HDMI cable is connected to respective ports.

I am guessing, HDMI cable may be the culprit here. Any recommendations on suitable HDMI cable that I can source from Amazon would be very helpful.

It is supporting the video out, but not 4K.

I tried connecting Firestick directly to TV and do ARC to the receiver. However, the 5.1 audio doesn't reach to 3067 through HDMI.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
