w900A HAS ACTIVE 3D while as w802a would come with passive 3d same as in lg....

Those would be just the last few remaining sets. Check HX950 thread on avsforum. It is confirmed that HX950 has been discontinued.

Now I am not sure if its the TVs USB Playback capability or playback via serviio that he is talking about..

P.S.: Serviio is the media server software used to stream media to your Bravia via DLNA.

Still no subtitle support, sony will always be 2-3 yrs behind in this department, what if samsung improves its picture quality in next 1-2 years, sony will get massacred just like smartphone industry.

Why are they comparing with samsung, why not Panasonic VT 50

If Sony follows the same convention as last year then expect a delay of around 1.5 Months atleast.

Nope, its a fair comparison, when anyone is shopping for a TV they will definitely consider both LED and Plasma as they are competing in the same price range and fighting for the consumers money.

Given the fact that the HX850 is now almost Out-of-Stock, waiting eagerly for these to arrive in India.

Hi, Have been making rounds to various showrooms in Pune over last 3-4 days. 850 is available in Sony World JM Road and Reliance digital aundh. JM road manager told that Sony India has plenty of stock so India might not see launch of W900A but other models may be launched in phased manner sometime May 2013 onwards.

Almost closed a deal for 55 HX 850 and thought of visiting Paud road sony world and guess what!!!!

55HX 925 is on offer at the same price. :clapping: It seems Sony has officially reduced the 925 prices but the model is still not discontinued for 2013. Have asked for some additional free stuff and most likely buying it as it seems to be cracking offer according to me.....:yahoo:
