I prefer 6.45 over 6.40 - at least as far as I can remember.
The last few updates have been a bit of a blurr.

I would say you should just try them and see what you like.

6.40 is good but very resource hungry. On my computer it's difficult to run upsampling. I remember 6.31 also as being very good and not resource hungry, so I want to revert to 6.31. Of course my fall back option is the portable Sound Quality Check Version.

Running the 6.31 install will give you a message that a more recent version is running and will exit.

Run the 6.48 installation again to uninstall the package.
You will get the "Remove" option in the second Setup screen.

enjoying 6.24 version...it sounded best till now..will keep trying new versions as well...untill new version sounds better than 6.24.

Just an Observation: Can you guys check with 6.48, 1x,Galaxy 30 , avx rewrite. It sounded quite good to me. I think we need to do more trial and error with 6.48.

it is synergy of all the components that makes the difference in versions of bughead. 6.24 may or may not sound good in your system.

I have been listening to 6.49 for about half an hour in normal mode. It sounds very good.

6.48 sounded a little too bright and thin to me. 6.49 sounds very balanced.

I also have been listening to 6.49 all evening and it sounds sublime.
Started off with some jazz standards but eventually moved to some mellow oldies (Perry Como)

It just sounds fantastic. None of the muddle and bloat of 6.48
Looks like Hiroyuki does notice feedback from the forums and makes changes.
