It was a pleasure to meet you in Delhi and accompany you to Avidyarthy's and Kalaam's in CR Park. Well, in response to your query (just read it now) and for the record, I ride a 1997 Bullet Deluxe aka "Dhanno" and have three other Classics that have been under restoration for a looooooong time due to utter paucity of the same. These are a '41 Matchless G3L, a '53 BSA BB31 and a '59 NSU Fox.

I wish we could have spent some more time together. Hope to catch up with you soonest. Privileged to have met a thorough Gentleman like you with whom I have so much in common.

Having gone OT enough, does anyone know of Mr Bindra of Malviya Nagar and Qadir Taleha of Seelampur, both in Delhi? Has anyone dealt with them? I have not, only spoken on tele.

I am sure there would be others in Delhi. Would any FM in the know of them be kind enough to share details and antecedents.

My only comercial transaction with him was when he purchased a pair of speakers from me .Transaction was OK but he did not pay the agreed upon price . He paid slightly less, typical of such dealers.

My last interaction with him was around five +years ago. He advertised for a pair of Tannoy Westminister speakers with Monitor Golds at a very very good price.He claimed to be from Hyderabad.

I was one of several people who were interested in picking these up , but he was very reluctant to let anyone listen to the speakers,but insisted on an advance .Finally, it was found that he never even had the Westministers.

I never bought anything from him,I know he picks up or used to pick up a lot stuff from the Ritchie St.guys in Madras, and that is enough reason to be wary of the things he sells.

The hot news I have for you Miroflex is that PRAKASAM is no more in Chennai and he has cheated people to the tune of Rs.40 Lakhs. A dealer friend of mine told me about this cheating a month back and was confirmed by few of my Audiophile friends. It seems that his native is Salem and he is hiding somewhere there. All his numbers are not in use.

PPl.. Beware of this guy.
Shame on Prakasam, This is not the way one should lead a Life.

A dealer named Mr Mohanasundaram has posted ads on quikr and olx. He has given his address as Tondiarpet, Chennai. Can he be Mr Prakasam in a new guise?
