Batteries are proper, +V to G shows voltage, -V to G is not showing any voltage.

Please check connection between -ve and toggle switch and G to toggle switch

removed the battery soldering and resoldered it, then removed dpdt switch. also replaced hw battery with nippo, now I could feel the difference. Thanks Sachin and Spiro.

i HAVE SETUP THE CIRCUIT AND INTEGRATED IT TO MY AMP. BUT I AM UNABLE TO CONNECT MY VOLUME POT AS I DONT KNOW WHICH PIN TO CONNECT TO WHAT. UPLOADING A PIC OF MY VOLUME POT

I think it is Norge 2060, and its a motorised pot,

It just says 100k ohm B-4 on the side. It has a SH printed on the top. There is a motor at the back without any markings.

IMO it looks like that.
There is pin diagram. All in goes to CW, out goes to W and ground goes to CCW.

Didnt think it to be an ALPS. But will try the pin config. Currently running a normal pot. Will try it tonight.

Yup the project is complete. My 1st DIY and I am very happy about it.
There is a lot of difference in the SQ. Hoping to get even better after the burn in period.
I added an output and input port to the front of the amp since I am interested in buying a equalizer soon. I know thats not how I would want to change the pure sound but I want to give it a try.

A whole load of thanks to Murali sir for suggesting the SSP to me at the very first step and then guiding me throughout my project and replying to my annoying pm's every time.
Would also like to thank omishra for helping me out with the pot issue.
Couldnt have done it without you all.

P.S: Any suggestions for the equalizer. Not planning to spend much on it. Preferably within 10k range.

I have a situation where I have connected SSP to B1. Since I have connected the lightspeed LDR volume control to the Pass B1, I don't want to connect a pot to the SSP. It doesn't make sense having two volume controls. What can I do to reduce the gain if I have to supply the full signal to the SSP input?

I am talking about SSP board. There are feedback resistors 10K and 8.2K, replace that 8.2K to 10K. Also on B1 board where you are shorting L1, R1 position, instead of copper jumper use 10K resistor which will reduce selectable range of LSA to 1/2 and compensating extra gain of SSP.

Hi Sachin,
Being new to this forum, I guess I am unable to PM you. Please let me know how else I can seek help from you to obtain the SSP kit. I am trying to improve my Norge1000 with SSP and have already ordered for LME49990MA opamps. As adviced by Murali, I will have to use a single-to-dual soic8 adapter in SSP in order to use those mono ICs. I am on the look out for this adapter too. I am thinking to use the 15volt power supply from the torroid to power up the SSP.
