Hi all,
Lets have a quick update:-
1) Organisers have almost everything ready for the meet & are raring to get the 'show on the road' :licklips:
Request all attending to reach by 0900-0930 hours on the 11th, so that
A) Utilise the early arrival for receiving Name Tags from organisers, 'Parameters Analysis Sheets' for reviews & setting - up respective gear
B) Do a sound check to see if 'all systems go' prior to reviews
2) We have now more than sufficient gear, infact we might have to cull some of it to concentrate on gear we usually do not get a chance to listen to. In order to do so, request all attending to make a final confirmed update of what gears they are bringing.
3) Request all attending to get all their associated accessories with their gears, ie: Speakers Wires/Interconnects/Extension chords/spikes, their choice of tracks (in CD & flac format) to showcase their respective gear.
4) To manage a review of most gears in a period of 20-30 minutes, so that post completion of all gears, we can have a DAC shoot-out, which I personally feel is the need of the hour in todays hi-fi requirements & is a dilemma for most of us.
Organisers are waiting for final updated excel sheet of gears available for review, based on which a final call will be taken on what gears we might have to leave out due to shortage of time
