Let me take this opportunity to put on records my sincere appreciation and congratulations to the Organising committee of the Mumbai HiFi Meet 2011 (Santy, Denom & Hemant). Hats off to your organisational skills.

The credit also goes to all other members of HiFiVision Forum who attended this event for making it a great success.

I am sure we will have such events every year on a regular basis.

Gr8 pics & a gr8 meet :)... Had a lot of fun & got to learn a lot too... We even had a written exam in which coping was allowed :P ... Actually it was a review sheet that we had to fill up for the benefit of the online folks... Anyway have a lot to say about the meet & my exp there which I will post later... Will try & write my full exp(review) in the evening...

Well,Denom you seem to forget my name in the list,but I cant hold myself appreciating sincere efforts from 3 of you-

It was a real HiFi meet & we all enjoyed it a lot.I felt that we should have some more time left & have more fun.Infact we lost in hifif world & didnt realise when the Clock touched 7PM.

Congrats for making Mumbai meet successful.:yahoo:

:D that was done on purpose since you promised to arrive first but arrived 45 minutes behind schedule!!! We were banking on you for your additional support (you being the 4th organiser but mostly being M.I.A :p)

Jokes apart, thank you so much!!! Appreciated your help & overall outside support, we shall give you MORE responsibility for the next meet!!!:lol:

Whatever excuse you give Denom, your mistake of skipping Spiro's name is much BIGGER than mine of Sushant name confusion. :D:ohyeah:

For late coming, we could have made Dr saab to stand on the bench, we missed it.. sigh!:p

Thanks Spiro for your efforts and also for putting pressure on us to wind up earlier. If it was not for you, we might have delayed by an hour or so...

Moral of the story: Keep a busy doctor with you for all events!

:ohyeah: Like Avidyarthy, you should have made the effort of attending the meet in order for you to be eligible for your 'Tee' ;)
 
I would definitely add my appreciation for the organizers Santy, Denom and Hemant for taking this huge responsibility that to with such perfection till the last level! After the homely Pune meet I didn't expect this meet to be with such details, but once reaching the venue I was surprised to see the T-shirt with Name tag..amazing!:). Food was..oomph, very nice:licklips: Sachin offered me the lift from Pune, I'll be really thankful for his cooperation and sharing his expertise on TT and other valuable things about HiFi.

All the day went just like few hours, especially the post lunch duration... so engrossing... I didn't feel the natural tempo of time. Few moments were like meditating... :indifferent14:

The major take away of this meet for me was to get a complete list of gear (Demo-1, 2, 3..) with price. LOTS of expert advise from Bhagwan and Khusro. :clapping:

One funny thing I felt about myself is that the way I was portraying myself before my 'HIFi-ignorant friends' was just broken apart, I really know very less about HIFI Audio. :sad:... I was desperately trying to figure out WHAT is the minute difference between closely matching systems, sound staging, DAC-vs-Sound Cards and other details,:rolleyes: I experienced that I NEED to develop my listening skill. Let me quote what Bhagwan explained to us:
"we're all at different level of listening skill, and we must grow" -Bhagwan-​

Sorry for writing late yesterday I DID NOT opened any screen post meet even my cell and slept early..today stuck in office.
Super special thanks to Santy and Denom , to be honest my contribution was lowest. Office workload , long traveling and add to that medical urgency in family ,my availability was lower. Thank you guys understanding my urgency and taking my workload on your shoulders , without complain ,without even asking .

Again as age grows very few times you feel that you have achieved something , not for any commercial gain or not because any obligations. When you work for nice people and make them happy the joy is different and priceless. I HAD THAT FEELING AFTER MEET . I was too tired ,almost feel like collapsing and I was happy when I saw that almost everyone is happy.

Thanks everyone for supporting and giving me this joy of fulfillment..
