Guys, trying to buy an entry level OLED. Was looking at getting a cheaper B6; I only managed to find it on Tata CliQ for 1.87 (with 2 years extended warranty free).

I live in Mumbai; any idea if I can get a cheaper deal anywhere? Or can I get a better model for a small increase in budget?

@shaiju or any other C7 owners - can you tell me what the dimensions of the wall mount are?

I have a setup in the house wherein I need to cut glass to the extent of the wall mount size. Not getting this information anywhere, just getting the VESA size, which isn't important. Need the actual edge to edge dimensions of the wall mount.

Also, what type of wall mount is provided with the TV?

Hi,

The mount on the wall side is about 9 inches wide and tall. It is difficult to get a good picture from behind but I gave it a try. The back of the TV is reflective and you can clearly see it reflect.

The mount is 6 way adjustable. I can pull it out as well by 6 inches.

This is it pushed back to max, side view. I keep it this way.

Is this the official LG wall mount that's provided by LG(free)? I'm also thinking of wall mounting but I was afraid that it would limit the use of I/O on the back of the TV. But if it's adjustable then I'll go for it!

Yes, it is the official mount by LG.

Thanks shaiju. I got my C7 installed. I got the same mount as well; only thing is, with this mount, the TV isn't really flush against the wall. There's a significant protrusion from the wall, and I'd rather have had a wall hugging stand without the swivel functionality than this one.

The TV looks absolutely stunning though.

Yes, I was disappointed too that it is not as flush as I did like, but the swivel mount offers good flexibility.

Is yours a 65"?

Cinema and isf modes are great of out the box. Experiment with the gamma settings if you think picture is too dark.

Nope I'm on a 55"! Installed it in the living room of the new house we are shifting to in about a week's time, so haven't really tested the TV yet.

Any suggestions for a decent wireless soundbar to go with? I was thinking about the Philips Fidelio, but decided to go for something less expensive.

Since you've compared 2017 & 2016 models in home conditions would love to hear from you if there's any difference between the two esp wrt shadow details, black crush & motion handling (esp in cricket) and which would make a better buy?
