Definitely not bad..let me check on this side of bangalore... Croma jpnagar was quoting at 85k LW5700 and nothing less but kept on repeating magic motion remote we will give... i reminded him that the remote is bundled with the tv itself. sony ex720 was quoted at 80k.

The croma guy kept saying that new samsung panels are not so good and advised to take lg or sony. i guess each dealer on the basis of the margins received would push for a particular brand!!!

They said the same to me and I avoided. I told them what free Motion Remote & Free Glasses you are talking. These are already inside the Box. Tell me what you are going to give me out of the box. So out of the box was 8GB USB with a half resolution TRON 3D. Which is ridicules. Its Cheating.

But croma banjara hills offered me 87K with a free Blu Ray player and 2 Blu Ray Disk. These are out of the box but I wanted 3D Blu Ray Player so I was not interested.

I WISH FOR 3D CHANNELS IN TATA SKY HD hyeah:

3D come with the HD setup Box. So need to replace the device. Just wait for the Channel. They are planing to launch soon.

1) How much does the LG wireless Dongle for LW5700 costs?
2) Is it good enough to warrant a purchase?
3) Can I update the firmware through any other method other than connecting to the internet?

Its Rs. 2000, and I am looking for flip Glasses any Idea where to get the glasses.

Dear friends and owners of LW6500,
please help and share your expiriance.

I plan to buy LW6500 (since I cant wait any more 9800 and have red bad experiances related with). I cant define size of the screen for my living room. I would like 55" but also scared to get counter effect. I will watch a lot of FULL HD channels, blue ray, XBOX and the problem is SD DIGITAL SIGNAL (a lot of channels) since in my country many channels are still SD. I have 2.3 meters to 3.8 meters to TV. So, few people seating will be on aprox 2.3 m and more people on aprox 3.5 m from TV. I saw cinema 3d in store on LW5500 42" and was satisfied. (55" they dont have I would have to order).

Besides, what is the minimum distance of 55LW6500 that 3d is viewable without any greater issues such as odd and even lines and crosstalk? Also with new firmware update. I have red many recommedations but they differ a much and perhaps not from users of this model or similar models with cinema 3d. Therefore, what is with sd definition on these distances and similar?

It's Awesome!!! The size which you have mentioned above is 3.5 m. You can go for 42'' or 47''. And for 55" you need minimum 4.3 m.

Shrek 3d complete collection blu-ray
airtel hd connection
101 movies(scratch card)
2 extra 3d glasses (total=6)



now i have one question that can we install the firmware available on Lg USA website on our LW5700 as this will enable the recording feature and bring many more apps.

LW5700 has smart tv functions,which for most people are useless and you can buy a blu ray player with those internet features these days..smart bet is a smartless tv!!!!do check out the PQ of both,i bet you wont notice much diff............Merci

If you are even slightly inclined to use internet apps, I would suggest LW5700 or LW6500. Go for LW6500 if you watch sports, specially cricket, cause the motion index is 850 compared to 600 of LW5700. I could make out smoothness in motion in 6500 when compared with 5700 side by side. Hope that helps.

Any idea how much is LG store quoting for 42" LW6500?

One of the LG Store quoted 85K in Hyderabad.

I almost made up my mind to go with 55", and shortlisted lw5700 and ex720 (samsung way expensive, so ruled out).. Considering >50% SD and <10% 3D content, what do you guys suggest... I would be buying in next couple of days..

Reliance Digital quoted Rs.76500 for 42LW4500. But agreed to match Bajaj price. Also 47LW4500 is available in Reliance digital.
Pl advice if reliance agrees for about 80k for 47LW4500 if this is a good buy.
