I did check, with a few different files, it seems some files create a problem, the one which I had problem with was a SBS 3D file with AC3 (two channels) it played fine on the pc but became soundless on the USB

Are u sure whether both the audio channels are ac3?
I think it only plays the first audio track.
I never had a problem with videos with ac3 audio till now.
This might well be an exception
If u have problem checking video properties, try mediainfo software

Hi all,
First of all thanks a lot, this forum (u all) helped me in my decision, I have ordered 47LW6500 for 1.2L with 4 3D Glasses & a Magic remote. Waiting for the delivery. Supposed to come today.
In the mean while I was thinking of downloading some 3D movies to watch on TV using my Hard Disk.
Can u pl tell me the sites of good 3D movie torrents and most importantly which audio format should I prefer to download the 3D movie for the best audio experience if I want to play it via my Hard Disk connected to my TV directly (No laptop/computer attached)

what price did u get and from where
i just got my lw5700 and i connected my ps3 i change the audio to 2.1 and i connected my ps3 to external speaker as well i notice an audio lag of 1/2 sec in between the tv speaker and my external speaker. any one experience this?

Yes, there is a very noticeable lag in the audio.( I have a 6500)
Another question I have : I am unable to load any internet content, which I suspect is due to the speed; which in my case is supposedly 1Mbp. Can anyone who is successfully connected to the net please let us know the speed they are using?

I haven't done much of internet surfing but loaded a few pages, and they loaded pretty ok, I am on a 512 kpbs connection
is there any way to get rid of the lag?

I got from Cuttack,Odisha and it cost me 74.5K with the an 8gb pendrive loaded with 3D Avatar and Rio and a 6 month free subscription to Hungama.com and the Magic Motion Remote of course..

In 3d settings, may i know what setting should i put so the object can come out from the tv(so i can actually touch the object coming out). I can see objects coming out in stores that they demo. But when i try it at home, i tried avatar 3d and mars needs mom 3d and despicable 3d(the one that is bundled free) i can see the 3d but the object doesn't come out like the one the store is demoing.
3D Demo setting: 3D Depth: max 20 (only accessible on 2d-3d conversion)
3D Viewpoint: -10 or 10 max (only accessible on SBS 3d movie or blueray 3d movie)
May i know what should i input in 3D Demo setting for 3D depth and 3d Viewpoint if watching 2d -> 3d conversion and 3d Viewpoint when watching SBS 3d and blueray 3d movies to make object comes to you like they are demoing in the store? Thanks.

Will the LW5700 convert an ordinary bluray rip from my media player (POHD) into 3D. Or is a 3D supported media player needed.

Does The 42lw5700 have dvr facility to record programs on a usb. The user mannual mentions so. Can some one pls confirm this.

It doesn't work on my Tata photon usb internet, nor on Reliance usb internet nor on my local broadband Ethernet cable. EVERY TIME IT COMES TO GATEWAY ERROR AND STOPS.
I AM NOT ABLE TO CONNECT MY TV TO INTERNET, any ideas for that or any other way to update my TV software.

Should work with your broadband connection, does your BB need a browser based login? which internet are you on? Is the TV getting an IP address?
This has been anwsered multiple times already, the TV can play Anaglyphic but you will need the red+Blue Anaglyphic glasses
Will check tonite and let you know, however so far not seen any such option.

Anaglyph can be played on ALL 2D and 3DTV's and monitors including CRT. But anaglyph 3D is totally useless and will give you headache, make you nauseous and the colors are downright unbearable to watch. Stay away from anaglyph.
