I have excel (Local) broadband, it doesnt require any login id or password, i just insert the ethernet cable in my laptop and start downloading things.

Can u pl tell me which ip address should i enter in TV, my ip address or the one which i get when i right click on my broadband connection then on network tab I go inside properties of ipv4 there i get an ip address that one??

Every time the tv connection stucks at gateway error??

check at shah's west mambalam (the one which is opp. to joyalukkas). i was checking for LG 47LW5700 and they came down to Rs. 1,07,500. i guess u can get 42' LW5700 for 73 to 74k.

btw did u check the PQ of SD channels??. I was about to buy LG 47LW6500 but thinking planning to buy Panasonic 42ST30 since non SD channels looked artificial in LG 5700 & 6500.

Send me a PM if need any assistance on best pricing and i will try to get few more chennai shops which might offer a better price....

Should work with your broadband connection, does your BB need a browser based login? which internet are you on? Is the TV getting an IP address?

Glasses are always included. 4 glasses in 2 boxes come inside the package. So don't let them fool you on that count. Motion remote is of course extra but in my opinion is pretty useless (I bought it separately but hardly use it). The original remote is sufficient but its your choice.

Having said that 71k is a good price.

That indeed is a good price. Anyways, Vat here in TamilNadu is 14.5%. Also I am getting a 4GB pendrive loaded with 3D content + Hungama.com vouchers free but I am sure they don't value more than 500 Rs.

LG TV is really strange, I spend 3-4 days trying everything in the world but it didnt got connected to internet and suddenly today it got connected to internet (With the same settings that I had tried the first time, my broadband service provider settings), everything else being the same. STRANGE.

But to come to the point, finally after getting my LG 47LW6500 TV connected to the internet, it showed no updates available. I still have the 03.06.04 version.

Can anyone confirm that the update is available for them, and if yes then in which country?? I m from India and here it shows no updates available.

After writing the above I did a bit of browsing. So it appears in US there is another update after that. The new firmware version is 04.02.07.

Ok i got the update done.

Now 1 last thing, for utilizing the updated features i have to turn off the tru motion while watching 3d movies via usb?? also do i have to now start downloading full SBS movies now that after update the TV supports full sbs??!! pl clear my doubt. thanks.

Now the biggest Q .. here is ..... where to get 3D Content

i have many 1080P 3D movies for Analytic RED/BLUE glass.
but i dont think its gonna work for Cinema 3D..

Guys please help me out.....

I see lot people have got their LW5700 42" sets around Rs. 74K. I am from Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and the price quoted to me here is 88K with a exchange offer price of 78K, with sensor remote. I fail to understand that why the difference is so high in pricing with various locations in the country. Anybody help on this.........

I will recommend u to upgrade ur TV software to latest version. Also u can gt many 3D movie online just google search for 3d Half SBS. (Side by Side)
