How did you get chromecast working?

On ps3, xbox or even ipad, I've never had any buffering issues btw. Not once did my video freeze at home. At office though, I have a 5+ year old router (provided by airtel only) and netflix is practically unwatchable there. Buffers every 5 minutes or so. And it IS annoying as hell. But too busy at work nowadays anyways so haven't yet upgraded the router. If chromecast freezes for buffering even once an hour, it's not worth it IMO. Better get something else even if costs a bit more.

Posting few pics for Chennai express on 720P HD. My phone camera is not that great. Very happy with the BDP S5100 performance, now just need to see, what other tweaking i can do by trying other DNS providers to see if i can take this a notch up.

I am currently using Tunlr. This year they have just started fresh services and have also introduced paid services. Costing is pretty cheap 1.5$ per month or 12$ for an year. I feel this is dirt cheap and is worth it specially for people looking for US DNS at very low cost. Currently they are offering free slots, will begin charging soon.

Pretty happy with the service as of now.

Yes, BBNL is good have been using the same for over an year now, 10 Mbps plans and speeds are good.

Anyone care to recommend a good decent (and most importantly, cheap enough) DD WRT router (no modem required)? Office router needs to be upgraded and I was considering getting a DD-WRT one this time so I can use it with cheap dongles like chromecast along with other stuff (ipad, android phone) without needing to change DNS settings on all of them individually.

Though picking up a DD WRT supported rtouter is a good idea as it gives you more control and options BUT almost every router (supporting DD WRT or not) allows for adding a DNS manually.

You mean any router will work with chromecast, roku etc as long as I add DNS manually in the router setting?

Yes nsinghal. Every router allows adding DNS manually. What do you think I have done. My router is linkage E2000 for the record.
