how does one claim the gift of the Diwali offer on ebay.in?

We were suppose to "come back" after October 27, I can't find any form/procedure on ebay site now, after Diwali is over and one had to "come back" to claim the gift.

Link is now live on ebay.in. you need to login, and it shows you step by step procedure to claim. As i had not accumulated enough points to redeem, so not getting any link to redeem. Though waiting for my WD 500GB HDD to arrive.:ohyeah: from earlier offer.

The link is live now, but it is not working :(

You can go forward a few steps then then it starts giving error messages, I called ebay customer support and they say it might get rectified by Sunday :mad:

Anybody who has been able to get the link to work. Frankly I don't really see the point in going through these loops. the gift should have been processed at the time of buying itself.
 
finally managed to place my choice on ebay.in for redeeming the Diwali offer, is there any way to track the stage of process for this gift to be sent by ebay?
 
Got my free 500GB HDD - ebay offer with bill (Rs.2877 including VAT).

I had paid 24K for my onkyo on ebay, so net price to me = Rs.21123:yahoo: I had bought Onkyo HT-S3400 on 4th Oct (last day of dussehra ebay offer)

It was a steal and I looooveeee ebay.

Nopes, though you can write to ebay and sometimes, they provide AWB no. My 500GB HDD came by Bluedart and it was shipped from Gurgaon (some marketing partner of ebay). It took me 27 days from order placement for Onkyo - to deliver my promotional HDD.
 
I have ordered 3400 from ebay. Mr. Dhruv updated the shipping details for the order. When I track the AWB in TNT website, it doesn't show anything. I tried contacting dhruv but he is not responding. Also TNT Customer care says, the item wouldn't have picked up from the seller.

How do the seller give us the AWB number without being shipped. Also What do I do in this case??

Contact ebay customer care and send a message to Dhruv again.

I was able to have a word with Mr Dhruv.. Apparently he shipped the goods over the weekend and Monday being a holiday on account of Id , the systems at TNT end were not updated. I don't think any seller can provide fake shipping numbers and get away with it because it might have serious repercussions for him if caught and further more this seller has a 100 % rating.
 
+1 to himanshujovi. It may sometimes happen that the courier company didn't update the tracking details. I have ordered a HTPC cabinet from ebay and dtdc shows transactions upto 5/11 only. In another case I ordered an HDMI cable on sunday night, and I got a message from ebay that the seller shipped it on 6/11 midnight. On checking, there is no such AWB number in DTDC. This may be due to the consecutive Holidays.

Thanks baijuxavior.. I guess sometimes the anxiety for a new gadget does get better of all gadget freaks out here..

Incidentally any of the existing users of Onkyo in NCR - have you purchased any speaker stands for the satellites ?? Any place where we can get the same in NCR ?
 
Hey I am not saying Dhruv had given me the fake AWB numbers. Since it is not update neither in TNT website nor he is responding, So I thought of checking with you guys. I know someone would surely get in touch with him and have some update.
