Hi friends
Finally recieved my BDT 220 from ishopinternational.
I am very much exited
I have youtube in it. Its very fast.
But when i m playing MP4 format. Its not supporting.
Do i need to updtae firmware??
If yes thn from whr?
Even in player menu firmware option is also thr to update, i have to do it from here or from other place???

The player doesn't support avi files. :sad:
You can update the firmware to 1.49 from the player itself.. But the player must be connected to the internet for doing this. It will download it and install it.. Just need to make sure, there wont be any power outage during the firmware upgrade..

Use a ups to power the bdp before firmware upgrade. Connect only the bdp to the ups so as to get maximum backup time incase of power outage.
How much time will it take to update (in total) assuming a person is on 2Mbps broadband?

Dude, I tried calling my local listed guys and they have no idea what it is. Not sure, why they are listed on MX website dealers list.
Anyways, do they have an online option to buy it ?

Not sure about the time. Downloading the firmware to PC and then updating is recommended.

I don't have this player, so can't say exact steps. Most players allow upgradation via usb or cd. You can download firmware from the official site and copy to usb or burn to cd and upgrade.

The 220 to 110v adapter from MX is not available in my city.
