It worked fine in mine . Although high bit rate one have some lag. other wise , it just works fine.

Please see if you have the latest firmware.

i had updated the firmware. i made the panny installation guy install the FW update. what is the latest version of the FW ?
i was able to see video. problem was with audio. i could hear everything other than the "center" channel i.e. the dialogues :sad:

Bought 42ST30 from Reliance digital @ 62900 with 3 years warranty and 1 3D Googles

Also bought the extended warranty which is covering every kind of repair with no extra cost for parts and service charge this is also covering the Panel and costed me 4k for 4 years...

Next step buy myself Airtel HD and a media player...

Can any 50st30 owner confirm me which wall mount (is it the swivel one) they provide with the TV for free and which 3d glasses (is it rechargeable on).

I am yet to receive the 3d glasses.

I have got the fixed wall mount. Anything plugging on rear side of the plasma after the wall mounting is done seems to be tough.
Should i buy a swivel wall mount.. any source?

I just got this baby. I am not doing much on the breaking-in thing. I have contrast etc below 50, and brightness at zero. I am ensuring that I watch everything full-screen (no black bars), and that no still image is on the screen for more than 15 minutes. Will continue doing this for 100 hrs.
Should this suffice, or should I also check out all that slider stuff?

And as of now , there is no new firmware released.

* yes HD contents will be stunning on this TV.
* i would say , even SD contents from DTH service like Airtel has been greatly improved , So i would suggest those who want a good watching of normal tv channels to get airtel HD.
* No need to keep checking usage hrs every now and then my friend , on an avg , it will take around 2-3 months to reach 100-200 hours usage, keep running it like that.
* watch 3d contents , ST30 is the one of least tv having cross-talk `s

i too have the 2.113 FW. i use only the TV speakers at the moment as I do not have a HT setup.in this, i could hear all the sounds other than the dialogues(very very low voice ) the issue was with 2-3 .mkv files from torrent. rest all were superb.

Sorry jpmlore , i dont know why its playing only surround and not center . The hard way is to re-encode the file to stereo , but thats just evading the problem , and not really finding where the real problem is.

I am sure panasonic india will be the least helpful in this regard.

If possible post the mediainfo of the file you are trying to run (removing the filename )

maybe airtel is superior.... using Tatasky DTH, will upgrade to Tatasky HD ...

The problem is , not many play HD videos via TV , many have BR-Player , PS3 or stream. I will try to play some 5.1 audio videos.

anyway , unless panny comes with a firmware fix for indians , we might have to resort to evading the problem.
