Having completed 200 hours, I tried the AVS forum caliberation files for basic settings. While I could easily adjust black level and sharpness using the caliberation patterns, I have not been lucky with white level adjustment. Even at highest contrast all bars in the white clipping video keeps flashing.
I adjusted three parameters:
1. Contrast - no conclusion (refer previous para)
2. Brightness - 12
3. Sharpness - 35
These settings done under normal mode. No other change made.
I really can't say I observed remarkable improvement in picture quality. This is understandable because:
1. Contrast has not been calibrated.
2. Colour has not been calibrated in the absence of colour filter.
3. I have not tuned off any pocture post processing like vivid colour, PNR, etc.
