The above compares the reflectivity and black level with my earlier samsung plasma.. The XT50 will more or less lok like that since it does not have the infinite black pro filter. The VT20 has 0 reflection in the daytime as you can see..

The screen should not be uneven. Iam not sure of the light emittng since I never saw a lower panasonic in the dark to compare. But it looks worser than my samsung plasma..

I did..However, night mode looks better...However, Indoor mode images may be due to camera...

Also, just to share that First image which I had shared 2 days back was not of my plasma,,

Your screen is uneven and seems extra wheatish.. I would check with the panasonic technician.

The fotos should have perfect back 'around' the TV to compare. You mobile fotos show area covering the TV also as non black. Not the ideal fotos to come to a conclusion.

this looks similar to what I have...the whiteness or blackness depending on how you see it looks uniform across the screen and this is not radiating light like the sun....am i missing anything?

Issue Details with images: Details with images are produced below:

1. Green-Pink Vertical Lines : The green-pink lines are visible all across the panel. I have clicked images for your ready reference.

In the suggested case, I am experiencing multiple vertical & horizontal lines. Historically, Panasonic has replaced sets even if users experienced even single green line.

2. Uneven Brightness : Screen has uneven brightness, which is reflected clearly by attached pictures. Pictures are taken in an absolute dark room, with no ambiance light.

3. Cannot display BLACK: Possibly related to above brightness

I used a black slide for display. Please see the result. My acer notebook with far cheaper screen showed it as dark black.

Wont it be good to update users about this? Specially potential buyers...

3d in XT50 is not bad...Its +1 to 2012 range

I agree that 50 Inch without glasses at 50k is a sweet deal..however, let me tell you 3D is awesome in this plasma,..

My bro got ST30 & LW5700....This one is suprior than both...Glasses are so light..

Also I changed my settings so ZERO Flicker even when I sit directly under light.....

Amazing PQ. Congratulations. But what is that vertical lines seen especially on the blue background images? Is it a problem with resolution of the TV?

Now I can relate to vertical lines...Its all over the plasma screen...

These are thin lines mostly....I have played zoom mode in camera while clicking

May I request you to please check:

1. Go to USB mode using media player button and observe closely if you see lines like I have reported above??

2. Put a black color wall paper in USB and click an image in Dark room..

If you have break in slides, you would be shocked to see there are lines all over the panel...

I can press for a replacement if this is a defect...Hmm 50K and all these :-(...

all fun is gone :-(
