Hi,
Thanks.
Yes, it is custom made. its really good idea to keep the doors of glass and keep the systems in the glass covered shelf. i missed this option but anyway you can go ahead and enjoy.
Size of the rack is 6 ft X 2.5 ft and approx cost is around 12k.
Yes! More ventilation better. Heat can really screw up the electronics inside. If you live in a hot region along with more ventilation a fan (not a ceiling fan ) to cool it down is also highly advised. An AC would be great.Hi,
Is it a good idea to keep the AVR, PS3 etc inside glass/wooden shelves? I heard they produce a lot of heat and need proper ventilaton? Please tell me, as I am also looking for a nice cabinet, but am confused how to design it as I thought that the equipments would need ventillation.
Suweet! Let the music begin. I am assuming its gonna be a long session tonight. Do post pics in the evening.Hi all,

Do not cover it with anything, the amps and receivers tend to generate a lot of heat...i mean a lot!!
Open the cover of an amp or AVR and u will find big thick 'heat sinks'. Ventilation for amps is like oil for your car or Bullet!
I have a few designs, I will mail them to you!
Thanks kittu.Wow , that little tube amp looks :licklips: ... You shld upload a video in action..:clapping: Congratulations.
Awesome stuff. Looks too good. What was the price?
... big amps rot if you allow too much dust to settle on them .... :indifferent14:
Got this Little Dot MK3 valve headphone amp to do justice to my Grado SR80i headphones.:licklips::yahoo:
