I needed a portable DAC for use with PC and Audioengine 5. ibasso D4 Mamba is supposed to be one of the best portable amp/dac in its price range. D10 has additions inputs, which i didn't need ATM, D4 pretty much serves all my purpose, so went for it!
Cost - INR ~11700 (from ibasso.com)

This is my first IEM, so didnt want to spend huge money - hence got the Fischer Eterna which is INR 3453 (from treoo.com).

The iPowerUS DC9V Battery Fast Smart Charger + 2 x DC 9V-520mAh Li-Polymer Battery cost me INR 4423 from pro-sound.com.

The reviews at head-fi helped me with my decisions

what all IEMs did you consider before closing on fischer?

That is an interesting purchase, I am interested, seems to be pretty handy, can you share some more details, can I programm to run macros from it....like a button to open and close an application or a game. have you tried configuriong winamp with it.??

It works good with many SW like foobar,MPCHC, vlc.It can be configed with any SW which has soft keys.
It can be used as wireless mouse & keybrd too as one can type from it.
It can open email/IE by pressing single button, open Folder on HDD,close window,pls check here-

The dual DACs is an improvement over d10. The d4 is 9v and d10 is 5v, so it should handle high impedance phones better and go louder.

Other iems in similar price range are Klipsch S4i, nuforce ne-8 and some others. I haven't had a chance to hear them yet, hopefully soon

Hey..I never get tired of listening to that classic bro... Reign in Blood is still considered the best Thrash metal Album ever..

I had listened to Opeth some time back, I think the album was "Morning Rise".

Was looking for Slayer's Christ illusion too, but it seems it ain't going to be distributed anymore in India, thanks to the innumerable protests by Catholic groups.

Hi everyone,

Just joined this wonderful form.

Have recently purchased a Yamaha RX V363 with Polkauido TS 300 + PSW 110 + NS 60(sats).

The sound has been a revelation,I finish work faster than usual to go home and listen to the system.

There is a little help I need regarding the volume of the dialogs as the dialogue delivery is very low.

I also feel the 100 rms Av receiver is underpowered to drive the speakers.

Could a more powerful AV receiver like the Marantz SR 301 or SR 3053 do the job and if so will any one buy the RXV 363.

Please help.
