First work on the relative amplitude of the centre channel and see how the dialogues are. If that does not work, I would suggest you get a simple monoblock amp to amplify the centre channel alone. This is because you like the sound of AVR and it does not make sense to look for something else.

Check you source player.
I found my onida DVDp digout SQ is inferior to D2X digout.
Doing this,I get good sound from my AVR & I was thinking earlier that my AVR is weak.

Worked on all possible ways ie increasing the centre speaker level, changing it to large/small,setting all the equalizers to max on the centre speaker etc..

What is DSP setting,during my research on the asme subject discovered that the DSP setting has to be changed....

please tell me what is a monoblock amp and where/ how much will it cost in Delhi.

Why this choice? Liked the sound of BE 718 among about 15 odd speakers that i listened to. I guess i have a bias towards treble. Wife vetoed the bookshelf due to looks (thats after marrying me) but was pleased with the looks of the floorstander. Hence.

A monoblock amp is a single channel amplifier. Regarding prices and availability, I am afraid the Delhi guys have to help you.

I have got some DVD and Blu Ray Movies where the center channel is very weak and dialog cannot be heard at all.I think its more a mastering problem with the disc than our equipment.

Why this choice:
Liked the sound of mission m34i and wf 9.5.
Chose mission as there was a wait time of 5 days for wf and mission was available in shop

Next in line is Norge 1000 as i feel my onkyo avr is not good enough for the speakers.

You could not wait just 5 days, did missions sounded that better, for me they did not......I dont know if you listen to Rock music, but Rock (particularly guitar) sounded harsh on m34i. Whraf on the other hand sounded just splendid.

Yes i could not
i dont listen to rock i listen to sufi and indian classical.
i infact liked m34i slightly better than wharf.

ordered marantz 5003 CD player for 18k and wharfedale 9.2 for 15k from the same dealers which i

They have a decent audition set up.Have seen better (Audio Planet , Cinebels etc.) and worse ( Vector, Total sound) set ups.

35 i costs 30k now a days.No idea about 33i pricing.
