Ordered for FLIRC which is an IR receiver for PC. Using this small dongle, you can use any IR remote control to control your media center application, players and other applications. Also availed off the Windows 8 upgrade offer and purchased a genuine key for Rs.1999/-. Windows 8 is great for HTPC purpose. With feature like hybrid shutdown, it will boot in 8-10 seconds and no need to invest in a costly SSD to increase boot speed. The metro start acts as a start screen for xbmc and TMT5.
It was our beloved forum member 'srinisundar' who helped me in purchasing these products. I have no words to explain my gratitude. My first experience with him was around one and a half years back when I bought the Sherwood BDP. A few months later when I wanted to buy an MCE remote for my htpc, I contacted him and he ordered it even before me transferring the amount to his account. So this time also I sought his help. As usual he ordered the IR receiver before making the transfer. For some reason he was unable to complete the Windows 8 purchase from his PC and so he offered me to provide his paypal user id and password:clapping:. At first I was hesitant to accept his offer. He mailed me his paypal id and password and I ordered Windows 8 (Rs.1999/-)from my PC. In this world of cyber crimes and frauds, I'm sure no one will do such a help to an unknown forum member. I'm deeply moved by his kind generosity. Many many thanks to Mr. Srinivasan.:clapping::clapping:. It is members like you who make hifivision.com special.

Its a very good/excellent gesture but now I think you both need to delete these mails from your mail accounts to be safe from cyber fraud as they reside in your mail boxes. I hope you might have already done this

I finally got rid of my Marantz PM7001+CD5001 and replaced it with a NAD C356BEE integrated amplifier last night.
My new 2-channel set-up now comprises of NAD C356BEE + C515BEE cdp paired with Wharfedale Diamond 9.5 speakers and IXOS XHS 756 bi-wire speaker cables. The power cable used are 10awg from Carol/UK (maybe P.R. China), fitted with Yarbo male and female plugs.

Even here, its not easy to find at this price.
Hypercity is usually not cheap but a sale was going on.
This one has a small footprint but its quite comfortable. I can say there is enough cushioning except for the sides. I personally don't like low density cushioning neither too much of it.
