Has still not come in our papers or maybe i missed it :)
Anyways it will be one superb experience for all who love Bon Jovi's music and also there is sort of a revival for rock music, specially Indi Rock with the release of a movie called "ROCK ON"

Thanks for the info Xela

The Who, My Generation (Deluxe Edition, with Bonus Tracks)

Truly one of the most interesting and innovative bands of all time. This particular early album lacks the sophistication of the ones that would follow (Next, Tommy, Quadrophenia) but it's kickass still. The monster hit title track, but also interesting interpretations of some Rn' B standards.

Rikhav,

Below is the excerpt from our papers dated 22 Sept 2008:

"Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and rock star Jon Bon Jovi will share the stage for the Live Earth Concert scheduled for December 7 in Mumbai.

Bon Jovi will be joined by Amitabh, along with his daughter-in-law and former Miss World Aishwarya Rai , director Shekhar Kapur and many others from Bollywood for the noble cause of creating awareness for Global Warming."

You're so lucky guys!:)

Regards!

andre bocelli - amore. dont listen to classical often - just some italian contemporary once in a while.

i love his duet with christina aguillera. i know i should be talking about bocelli, but christinas got an amazing, powerful and versatile voice. she adjusts herself to various styles and various time periods

Ohh ok, its the LIVE EARTH concert. That has come in our papers but i never knew BON JOVI was part of Live Earth
It will done very well i suppose. I think there will be many more artists with Bon Jovi performing that night.

Ray Charles-Geius + Soul = Jazz.
A delightful Album. Swinging background music led by the Hammond B Organ-one of my fav instruments & that genius called Ray Charles. The result, musical nirvana.Very highly recommended.
Johann Strauss - Kaiser-Waltzer.Berliner Philharmoniker, Von Karajan.
Emperor Waltz, a timeless classic, needs no review or recommendation as a musical tour de force.
Von Karajan & the Berliner really do magic with this interpretation, an excellent, full dynamic range recording, to boot.

Over the last two days I heard 'The Confluence' featuring Rahul Sharma on the Santoor, and Richard Clayderman on the Piano, a number of times. Both artists are fantastic in their own rights, but to hear Clayderman play Indian numbers with such gusto and precision is something not to be missed. Many places Rahul leads with the Santoor, but Richard's piano merges so well with the sound of the Santoor, it is eerie. Other artists provide support with guitar, flute and percussion.

I was wondering why the Norwegian Wood sounded so Indian. Then I realised that Ravi Shankar is supposed to have worked with the Beatles in composing the song. All the tracks have a strong classical orientation, but I suppose that is inevitable with Rahul around. He has also composed some of the numbers in the album such as Together, Jaisalmer, and Celebration.

For a long time I was thinking nobody can beat Brian Silas on the piano for Bollywood numbers. One of my dreams is to listen to Brian face-to-face in Dum Phukth or wherever he plays nowadays. That guy is mesmerising. Richard comes damn close, and in some places eve beats Brian hollow. Watch our Brian !!!

Bravo Richard and Rahul!! Please bring us more albums.

The tracks are:

1. Together
2. Jailsalmer
3. Yeh Hai Bambai Meri Jaan
4. Blues Heaven
5. Tere Ghar Ke Saamne
6. Ecstasy
7. Dekha Ek Khwab
8. Norwegian Wood
9. Shangrila
10. Celebration

Kamal: welcome back, you were missed!!! :)
