Amazing soul singer. Lots of great music. This is a great place to intro his stuff, but guaranteed you'll end up with more of his albums. More soul compared to Marvin Gaye's more sensual/sexual...

My cousin introduced me to Lionel Richie when I was a kid but I never really understood why she was crazy about him. It was much later on that I fell in love with "Hello" and from then on I was hooked. This is an amazing collection of Lionel Richie's love songs/ballads, a great collection by any standard.

Lily Allen - Alright, Still

Lily Allen - It's Not Me, It's You

Extremely talented, proves with her 2nd album her success is not a flash in the pan. Sings about everyday life and with very observant lyrics. My friend recommended her first album and I've not regretted it. The 2nd album too is good.

One remix album that's a must even if remixes are not your cup of tea. A more modern computer assisted sound from Kraftwerk from the original The Man-Machine, but still worth adding to your collection.

Not like the popular Yeke Yeke, this is more acoustic sounding and very minimal use of electric instruments, still great music and if you like African music then a great album. BTW, my favorite choice is still Yeke Yeke for this wonderful artist.

A great way to hear other stuff apart from Yeke Yeke the million seller. An eclectic mix of music that will entice you to dance!

Giorgio Moroder a German reissue of the disco legend's of late 70's & early 80's.
This album was billed as the first electronic live-to-digital album,
the music here is dated. I purchased this LP in 1979. Great album, reminds me of my yester years.
"From Here to Eternity" one more classic from Giorgio.

In movies both are great i.e. Batman and The Dark Knight with most of the stars pretty evenly matched though Heath Ledger would get more nods over Jack Nicholson one would suppose though Jack Nicholson is no slouch when it comes to acting.

But in comparing soundtracks this is way ahead. Prince delivers some great music that has to be heard to be believed.

Not a studio album, rather this contains material previously unreleased from Prince. But this is a great album with great tracks, not some hurriedly thrown bad music to make a buck. Shows the talent Prince is I suppose.

My best friend from my childhood introduced me to Rock Me Amadeus when I was a kid and I was hooked from then on. Unfortunately or fortunately at least I have Falco on tape and could not get CDs locally. Managed to source this one CD from Amazon. Even though its in German and I don't understand a word of it and have to rely on my wife who speaks German still Rock Me Amadeus justifies it for me. A must listen track...
