Darjeeling er Gaan by Anjan Dutta, a nostalgic favourite from my school days.
The album "No Reservation" by Apache Indian. Listening after a very long time. Bring back memories of school days.:yahoo:

I only 'had' cassettes of his. Been searching for a long time for his CDs but to no luck so far. Yes, school days memories
Arranged Marriage and Chok There were huge... was in school myself.
I never heard this artiste before so I heard a few of his numbers on Youtube today. His voice has an old-world charm which carries quite nicely.
I recall that this song became quite popular a few years back because of its underlying political message. Besides, being sung in three languages also made it unique!
I have a collection of Josh Groban (Best of) and he has a cool voice. I believe I first heard him sing on The Ellen Show (IIRC).
I used to hear Youssou long time back until recently I went through my CD-R collection and came across his CD. A collection of his songs from a Dutch CD and an Austrian EP rip.
I would highly recommend checking out Joe Cocker too... one of the best voices. Stands out because its unique and raspy.
Also, Freddie Mercury (Queen) and Annie Lennox for their amazing vocals.
