i'm sorry i know this is not the right place but i need someone to solve my problem. basically i want to ask a new question but i cant.

i've been freaking trying to find where can i make a new post for the last half hour. there is no link or button that says post here. i'm sick and tired of running around on this website.

please tell me how to create a new post.

thanks

I think you want to start a new thread,if you want to create a new Thread in television Section

then go to home --> Forum --> (scroll down to)Television and Click the new thread tab just below the advert .

Thanks

Sohail SD channels will look bad once you are used to HD.

One thing I can suggest for viewing SD is change aspect ratio of TV so that it is not wide screen then it is a little better.

My suggestion is get used to it though .

BTW mine is 47w850a but above applies for any TV

ya changed the aspect ratio and i think we should maintain certain viewing distance for better experience.

Hi,

How was experience about that dealer?
I see some bad reviews from justdial for that dealer.

how's you determine that you have fresh tv?

Are they give tv in front of you or directly they give delivery to home?

and what's your experience about tv?

Can our eyes easily justify the problem(viewing from side) in our normal room(Drawing room) area?

Hi Guys,

I have bought a Sony KDL32W700B with it I have a TATAsky HD and a Pioneer HTP -072.
The TV and the HT are connected using a HDMI ARC cable. TATAsky is again connected using the HMDI.
I have a Vguard Crystal plus Stabilizer (3amps).

The issue I am facing is, the TV all of a sudden switches off on its own while the other devices still stay on.
I have double checked all the settings and other external possibilities and found no issue.

I even escalated the issue and got a replacement TV, which again is tripping. This trip happens about 3 to 4 times a day.

1)Does any one have an idea as to why this is happening?
2) Are you using a stabilizer with your TV, we believe the stabilizer could be causing the issue.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Kash - Since yesterday, my TV is also tripping on its own and restarting within 2 seconds....I'm not using any stabilizer, though did not have any voltage issues in my flat till now. Did your problem finally resolve...can you suggest something on this?

I noticed that as well in the store. But I was standing about 35ft from the TV at a 45degree angle. At home, I have not noticed this yet.

Hi,

Finally bought 42W700B for 60K here..

I have a question on viewing angle.. does anyone feel picture turns much whiter if you look from side than front on in this tv?

have recently bought the W700B for 63k delhi.
i have a query regarding the PIP/P&P function. When i used the PIP function, in the main screen i have my videocon d2h connected thru the hdmi port 1, then in the windowed screen (screen2) i am unable to get any screen other than the analog tv screen. is it not possible to get another channels froom d2h or other hdmi port in the PIP screen.
i hope my query is clear enuf.
regards

Dealer is good - I bought several products from this dealer and never had any issues...
you can read my earlier post for fresh TV-you can check usage hours as well
it was sealed pack and they take me to godown and I have selected TV myself from several piece they have..

Viewing angle is bit an issue if you see it from extreme side - it become bit pale...this applies to all VA panel and latest TVs from Sony

You guys are expecting lot from internal USB player of the TV. Better get a media player or play it from a PC or BD Player.

Hi,

Awesome tv (except viewing angle issue as I mentioned earlier). Question I have - for anyone using this TV with Airtel HD -

I see Dolby Digital mentioned when I use 'i' display on any HD channel on airtel though the channel itself shows Dolby Digital Plus at bottom (try Star Plus HD) . Any one facing same issue?

Ok .. After a good 2 months of shop hopping.. finally booked it today @ croma.. pocket burnt for 63k.. was hoping to get this for 61k.. however it turned out to be near impossible to break the 61k barrier.. Getting delivery tomorrow & installation hopefully the day after..

Guys do let me know the optimum settings for the TV.. Also how much would the extended warranty cost. Can I purchase it anytime before the first year warranty expires or should i get it right away??

Extended warranty costs 5K for this tv, can buy anytime in your first year warranty (only catch can be if Sony stops this scheme of extended warranty).

89 degree left and 89 degree right - means 178 degree if you walk around...Make Sense...
Finally I am purchasing this TV today...

Just to update on this - 89 degree left/right does not mean 178 degree...full axis is 180 degree...many tv provide 178 degree and thats the max you can achieve...

This tv gives you 89 degree ...meaning 44.5 on left and 44.5 on right..after that PQ degrades a bit....

Hi Guys,

I have some issues can anyone having same issue or can you please guide me for that?

1. Sometimes when start tv and i press i+ or options or home button then it's not working.i want switch off the tv and start tv then start then it will work.
sometime when i press home button it shows me please wait but nothing happens.

2.I set date and time manually and i switch off tv and again if i see date and time i found that it will not stored.i have to set it again.so tv keep it stored whenever it running.once i switch off from power button(not from remote)it's not storing date and time.

I am confused between:
1. Samsung 40" LED UA40H5500AR (58k)
2. Sony 42" LED KDL-42W700B (60k)
3. LG 42" LED 42LB6200 (58k)

89 degree left/right Does means 178 degree full axis even though it states 178 degree both IPS and VA panel does have color degradation if you see it from the sides unlike plasma TV's. VA Panels has more degradation but excellent black levels when viewed from the center ,while IPS Panels has less degradation but have to compromise a bit on its black levels.
