God. Horrible.
Why does sammy make such lousy plasmas. That too a 55 inch. Never seen such lousy plasma all my life.

55" plasma? I didn't know that there was any in that size.

I remember I saw something like that. It was among the other plasmas. So I am guessing its a plasma. But I am sure of the model number. Was it an led?
Whatever it is it is worth forgetting.

Dirac- this time Samy people are having all confusing codes for their TVs. You can't directly tell whether a model is LED or Plasma unless you go into detail. They have same suffixes for LED as well as Plasmas (for few series). As far as I have seen, only plasma in 4900 series is 51F4900, there is no 55F4900 (not even in LED). Another model 51F5500 is a plasma, but 40F5500 is an LED, there is a 32F5500 is also there which is also an LED. So a bit confusing.

I don't know what its resolution is but we can clearly see the panel dots on the image.

Have following question to you.. Pls help me.

1. Can you guys, pls let me know the best price for 50ST50D also contact.

2. Is there any major change in st50 and st60(other than the sketch on screen)
Like dual core processor or something like to worth mentioning.

3. Checked with panny brandshop(Bhanshankari),,, they say 50st50d is 1.03 and 50st60d 1.13L


Noticed sammy 51F5500 is powered with dual core,, last year mode E550 is not dual core..

The major change is slight improvement in 2d PQ. I think panny did not want to change much the already successful design of st50.
It is always better to shell out a little extra and get the latest model. That too when the difference in price is very less.
Regarding number of cores, they are only for smart features.
For example if you have fancy features like gesture controls and voice controls, a multi core processor will come in handy to give a better response for these smart tasks.
My take is, just grab the st60 before the stocks are over.

It seems the 65" of ST50 is still available and there is no news for 65" for ST60 yet.

If you have finalized it, that's OK. Else I feel that Samsung 64F8500 is a better option.

Who said so? Shaiju Thomas purchased the set for 1.8L or there about. The price has increased because of Rupee depreciation but still should be available at 1.9~2L (negotiated).

Are you sure about the price? 50ST50 was sold at 90-100K. Last year 65ST50 was priced at around 2.2L. If you are getting 65ST50 at 1.2L, then go for it.

True. In fact, I purchased for less than 1.8L.

The set was available for as low as 1.70L. I had posted if anyone in Mumbai wanted to buy immediately. I find it is super performance and value at that price. For that matter even at 1.84L but there's no harm in saving few thousands.
