1. The elusive st60.
2. S60 and f5500. Both are very good. It only boils down to the taste . Sammy image processing vs panny image processing.

My 2 cents on this :

1. The elusive st60. - May never see the light in India, dealers cannot guarantee if or when stocks would come and how many would come.

2. S60 and f5500. Both are very good. It only boils down to the taste . Sammy image processing vs panny image processing.

S60 is highly reflective as it does not have the AR filter and they are using an old panel, only the ST60 comes with Neo Panel.
F5500 - has better features, smart TV and pricing wise would be lower .

50UT50 is already out of Stock rt? can we find it anywhere??

atleast 42ST50 was available during sep 1st week and not 50UT50.
How abt the reflection on UT compared to F5500(Trying to keep info handy so that if 50UT50 is available, i can grab it immediate.

When i got a call from Panasonic Brand showroom last month, when there was only 2 box piece.
i was told the best price as 1,17,000rs with Home theatre free(worth 9.9k)

thought the price will do down during diwali and missed it..(Now i can understand, when we want something badly we should not bargain much )

Talked to Panasonic Regional Head today. He's saying that they don't have any Plasma models with them. I wanted the 50UT50D but they don't have it in stock as it's "obsolete" now. He's telling me to get a LED instead although he can't suggest a model yet. I want you guys to help me with it. Please suggest me a LED which will be close to UT50D and 50" and must have 3D. I'm all confused now

But its not available.

DT60 is available for Demo in Bangalore, pls let me know if you are from Bangalore.

St60d needs no comparison in my opinion. The only issue is whether one can spot it.
St60 improves on st50 gradations wise and is also much brighter than st50.
Just go for it before the stocks last.

Panasonic Brandshop has that but mine is replacement / upgrade so it will be done by Panasonic / Dealer. They don't have that in stock.

The Sony LED that comes close on pic quality is the WT950. It costs about 10000 more than the ST50 and gives 4 inches less. The next best could be either the W800 or the W850. Im not sure what is the difference among the two as w850 wasnt available when i was looking for a tv in August. However, W800 was very colorful and is a 3D tv. They also had the 3D bluray offer going then which is still available. Stepdown regular model Full HD is the W700. If W950 is out of budget, compare the 800 and 850. I found that Sony's 2013 product offerings are better than Samsung's. Panasonic ST60 is still available in Pune. Write to [email protected].

Panasonic did not mention any of the Plasma models in the diwali advertisements. In 2012 they used to put all XT, UT series.

Unfortunately this year It was only LCD-LEDs and no other offers.
