101% right you're. I think that's the greatest offer right now. I want to get it and Brandshop has that but I can't lay my hands on that as it will be provided by Panasonic or my dealer That's luck #*&^ing with me

congrats on your purchase...try these settings....actually cinema mode is the most accurate mode for this model....but since there is no advanced settings for cinema mode for the asian models of s60,try the custom mode....

The other thread says that Panasonic is stopping plasma production in Dec 2013. Now, I'm thinking if I should go with ST60. If you guys compare any LED to ST60, which one is it ? I'm bound to Panasonic as replacement issues.

Can you please state your expectation beyond the warranty period?
Any faulty operations ... Even now some of our group members are waiting for replacement.. Due is plasma TV's not functioning just after 165hra itself.
So it's always good to know what will happen if the same happens after warranty period.

In the showroom, there was 50ST60 (1.1L) and 60S60 (1.2L). Sonosphere felt that the 10" extra space was worth paying more.
The 60S60 scores mainly of the size aspect. On the picture quality front, I would say that ST50 is better but then again it is not a fair comparison because I am comparing 50" to a 60". As everyone knows, the bigger the screen, the more the pixels become that much apparent. But ST50 is better on specs anyday.

Not just plasma or panas, for any brand outside warranty, you will have to pay ~70% of original cost to get the panel fixed or you can sell it off to the scrap dealers for ~2k.
