I yesterday watched expendables 2 and very much liked its humour than its action....like ..I will be back/I am back...and dialogues betn stalone and chuck norris..AND BRUCE WILLIS AND ARNOLD (WHHILE SHOOTING hehe)..and finally the museum related...must check

Trade (2007) - IMDb
A very good Mexican Crime/Drama movie about human trafficking between Mexico and US. With no age/gender bar in their business this story is about a 13yr old girl kidnapped and how her elder brother goes about saving her along with the help of a police officer. The story is clean and simple, no hero no villain, just a bunch of insane guys doing and an insane job for money. The cinematography is really good, and good performance by the cop (Kevin Kline).

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011) - IMDb
Delightful British movie on British retirees who plan their retirement on what they think is a luxurious hotel.
I was a bit biased initially against the movie, but its shot and acted really well and the story is well told. Definitely worth a watch.

The Raven (2012) - IMDb
The movie is set in the 1800's and is about a serial killer imitating Edgar Allen Poe's fiction. The police involve Poe as the killer wants him to solve the mystery and save his girlfriend.
Good mystery/thriller with some twists in the end that will keep you guessing.

Movies I watched this Week Blus
Watched some blus whole week.
1)North by Northwest Hitchcock classic , timeless movie , quite nice restoration , pq is very good , aq is crisp and clear , watched it with my dad , he totally loved watching again on Blu ray as he did same back in theaters .movie 5/5 ,pq 4.5/5 and aq 4.5/5 i have reliance version which is same as uk version.
2)Casino Royale UK , not so good story in my view , but the movie has great action scenes which do test your home theater very well , so do get it.the chase in first 15 to 20 mins is awesome .Daniel Craig not the best James Bond in my view the guys face doesn't express much , best James bond hands down is Sean Connery a true legend .movie 3.5/5 , pq 4.5/5 ,aq 5/5
3)King Kong extended cut ahhh the movies looks too much stretched 3hours and 20 mins :O , story wise i wont say it is that good , love Naomi watts so goddamn beautiful . the aq and pq is very good , i brought the movie due to that 10 mins fight scene between 3 t-rex and King Kong and end half hour scene ,the movie rather showing more about the bond between Naomi and King Kong focus more on creatures on island all prehistoric Jurassic type stuff with modification , i feeling it is more Jurassic park sequel than separate title coz some of scene do have been copied from first Jurassic movie .so my ratings movie 3/5 ,pq 4/5 and aq 4/5
also re watched toy story 1 and toy story 2 on blu ray with my 11 old neighbor who who loves the movie like me , it still feels good that after15 years the movies are everyone's favourate .
the movie is 5/5 , pq is 5/5 and aq is 5/5.these movies do test your HT System , must have in collection .
Guys i wana ask what version of lossless audio is in the uk and usa version of toy story 1 and 2 ? Coz Blu ray site shows both version DTS HD-MA 5.1 ES while in Indian version is DTS HD-MA 6.1 ES
Gonna Watch Toy Story 3 tomorrow , i have already watched these three when i had newly got my HTIB.

However, Casino Royale is one of the best jb movies I have seen. The movie has a good plot, not just meaningless action/Gadgets/gizmos, a female lead who is intriguing, a Bond that looks mortal, etc.

+1... that and The World Is Not Enough were the only bond movies in recent years to have any story... But I do enjoy them all anyways. Just the gadgets and girls are enough to make "My Name is Bond, James Bond" the coolest character ever.

You do realize that Peter Jackson's King Kong is a more faithful adaptation of the original KK, which came out in 1933? That came out before Spielberg was born

i knew the movie king kong 1933 coz in extras of jurassic park there is footage of shooting where the child girl screams and Spielberg ask to scream like the actress of 1933 king kong.i knew about trex and king kong seen but not about other creatures

the movie has nice plot , but i big to differ on gadgets , James bond movies are known for unique gadget and charisma of James bond. the cars he drive , the bond girls he has . these films are know for it. everyone at that time in 60's fantasized about being bond due to this , of course it will puny now .
the worst part of the film was Daniel Craig's acting , there is very minimal expression on his face , well its my opinion ,yours might be different. Maybe i must have got bored or distracted due to his lousy acting
You are missing the point... this is how James Bond became James Bond. The cold calculating assassin who does not have any emotions and kills with mercy and who only toys with women... all because of what happens in this movie. Call it a reboot of the Bond franchise if you will.

but main bond plot is always style , thats y 007 is different from others , he is womanizer , no mercy killer with style and unique gadgets in his bag

Drive (2011) - IMDb - Excellent movie... Ryan Goslin is perfect as the protagonist with so many shades to his character.
Blue Valentine (2010) - IMDb - More of a mature love story... about a couple and their marital problems. Enjoyable though.
The Notebook (2004) - IMDb - Had to watch with the wife. Still enjoyable fare and will remind you of your first love or at least your first crush as a teenager. Rachel McAdams is pretty in a different role. Ryan Gosling only has to look good, moody and pine for the love of his... but he does come across convincingly.
