Toshiba gives 3 years warranty on RD, but flipkart only 1 year(that's y Flipkart price is slightly less)
In RD we have to pay around 8k for 2 years additional warranty(so total 5 years) But flipkart provides complete protection at 4k for only 3 years.
I like Flipkart complete protection because it also covers physical damages too(avg. 40% compensation) and provides 30% exchange value before 3 years if exchanged in Flipkart. And for panel issues mostly it is not economical to replace, so they provide refund of 90%, 80% and 70% in 1, 2, and 3 years respectively(This is so good, so u can buy New tv within 3 years if panel fails). But Jeeves (Flipkart warranty people) services r pathetic, u should have patience and meanwhile spare tv for 1 month.
In future if Flipkart improves it's warranty services and provides 5 years complete protection for 20% tv price, then it would be awesome...

Recently My Iffalcon 55K2A started flickering after 30 months of usage. Luckily I had 3 years extended warranty.
Jeeves Person visited & after 3-4 days declared that it is beyond repair.
They asked If I wanted refund. (Had Purchased @ 45K + 3K of extended warranty).
I said yes; they took the TV & got back 32K refund from Jeeves after 3-4 days.
Now I am Looking for 65u7980.
I have two queries.
1) I want to table mount. My table (15 Inch by 45 Inch) (37 cm x 113 cm). Will it able to hold the TV ? I was holding Iffalcon 55K2A pretty good.
2) Reliance Digital saying 3 years manufacturer warranty. Is it comprehensive ? Owners may comment !

I have kept it on table and the distance between the stand on both sides is 50 inches. My table is 72 inches long and so it was an easy affair.

.... What about the 3 years manufacturer warranty if purchased from Reliance Digital Website ... Looks like in Maharashtra Flipkart is not delivering this TV; so RD is the only option ...neoonwheels

I got it from Amazon and got 1 year warranty (As I missed the initial 4 days bus) but I have bought 2 years additional warranty from Amazon.Thanks for the Reply ! Looks like the table won't be long enough

Anyone having problems getting it to connect to Wifi?
I have 2 routers. It connects fine to the wifi downstairs but that has poor signal strength. It just keeps timing out to the wifi upstairs for some reason. Both of them are running exactly the same settings so I am kinda stumped. Anyone run into this?

It's been just a week since I got 65 inch u7980 and I have already started to see a flickering line some times near the bottom of the screen about 2 inches from the bottom where the picture menu shows up. Some times a flickering line is seen across the width of the television. Has anyone else noticed it? I usually happens when there is text at the bottom of the screen either subtitles or picture menu is open. Is there a defect in the TV?
Hey, never wanted to read this one but this is clearly a common defect called out in YouTube reviews for the 65 inchers of u7980. Im assuming it's more of a software rendering thing as it's happening with menu for all. Can 55 incher guys confirm. Video at 3:00 for issue

I don't have that issue on my 55" model. However, this seems like a software rendering issue rather than a hardware one since it's happening on the same menu.
I hope this gets sorted out if and when there is a software update.
